Dancing around the world~One pole at a time~~~Return of the prodigal trip reporter...

Loving the hat pictures! I especially like the safari hat with the Mickey ears! :thumbsup2

Too funny about your Animal Kingdom pole dancing! :lmao:

Your French dinner looks yummy -- my stomach is growling looking at those desserts!

Exactly. I wonder how many poles it would take to get enough for say... a dinner at Le Cel. ??
I guess it depends on who's doing the dancing.

Great Pole Dance !! Wish I had thought of it BUT I woulda had no one to take a pix !! :lmao: I coullda asked the man coming round the corner :rotfl2:
now that, I would love to see!

I think you are really making me want to go to Disney World without my kids, just Faron and I.
you should! It's so much fun!

:lmao: i can just see you trying to play this off. i have a "tree hugger" t-shirt you could have borrowed.

glad you enjoyed les chefs. when erica and i ate there in 2008 i got the french version of mac and cheese and it was SO GOOD! i could eat it for breakfast right now.
I don't think my performance was very believable.

I almost got the mac and cheese.....now i"m hungry!

YAY the taxi story I have been waiting for this....popcorn::popcorn::
uh-oh now I feel the pressure....;)

Mnnn dinner looks yummy. I LOVE creme brulee and profiteroles (looks like what d.jay had) which is funny as I'm not really much of a dessert person but honestly, creme brulee has made me consider getting my own blow torch.

I've been thinking about getting a blow torch too! I need to master the art of creme brulee....mmmmmm, the crunchy layer on top is my favorite part!

the bowl comes later.....hey, I could have saved money and just turned the bowl upside down on my head.

I think it is so sweet that your DH bought you an Unbrella!!:cloud9:

the dessarts look YUMMY:banana:

And Love the Jungle style Pole dancing!!!:rotfl:

he is a sweetie....most of the time.;)

it's a good thing I wasn't wearing my jungle jane costume..

the had is cute, for a little kid...at least I hope that's who they're made for!

it's only 8 here and I'm wanting dessert!

the photopass dude had a hard time getting us with both our eyes open...at the same time...
Those photos are too funny :rotfl2:

2009-04-27071.jpg
OMG :lmao:

d.jay's dessert was ice cream in a cream puff with chocolate sauce...
He had profriteroles and they're delicious, your creme brulee looks absolutely delicious too :lovestruc

okay i see creme brulee everywhere and on tons of shows ,and TR's but have never had it...i keep telling candi i am going to get it when we go this trip, but what exactly is it?

and does it have a comparable item in flavor that it taste like? vanilla pudding?

:confused3

I love the blinking photopass pictures! :rotfl2:

You could photoshop the two of them to get one good one. No, better yet, photoshop them so you have one picture with both of you with your eyes closed. The one where you both finally have your eyes open D.Jay looks like he's concentrating on keeping his eyes open. :rotfl2:

The food looked good. I'm with D.Jay -- I love taters. A great meal would be those taters followed by that cream puff. :cloud9:

Creme Brulee is a little piece of heaven :cloud9:if it is made right...it has a crispy shell with a warm center that is a custard....

It is not so good when the top is burnt or the center is cold :scared:
YOU should try it

The new addition to the family is adorable!

Love the pole pic-I can only imagine what was going through the mens minds! :worship: :rotfl2:

Cute dog!

I thought I would love AK, but it was just so crowded the day we went that I didn't enjoy it much at all. :sad2:

That was how it was for us the first time we went in 2003...so crowded that we didn't enjoy it. In 2008 though, with a 14 month old in tow, we took it slower and enjoyed it. However there is still much I want to do and see (KRR, Camp Minnie Mickey, as well as the trails).

Those desserts look sooo good.

Djay's looks delish! It's go me hungry.

You look like you're getting a little too comfortable on the pole.......:rotfl2:

The best pole pic yet.:rotfl2:

I agree Jordan...best pole pic yet.

You should have just embraced it when the guys came around the corner...

"Hey boys... Got any dollar bills??"
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao:

Great Update Cherie , sorry my keyboard doesn't have the little thingie to go over the E either !!:lmao:

I have had Chef's Creme Brulee and it is AWESOME!!!

Great Pole Dance !! Wish I had thought of it BUT I woulda had no one to take a pix !! :lmao: I coullda asked the man coming round the corner :rotfl2:

Lol. Rosie I'm betting anything you would have asked the man coming around the corner to take your picture. You're a little minx. ;) I mean, you are looking for Hot Italians.

I think it is so sweet that your DH bought you an Unbrella!!:cloud9:

That was very sweet of your hubby to buy you an umbrella. My hubby would have bought it for himself. :lmao:

it's closeto vanilla pudding the texture is a little different. It has a carmalized layer of sugar on top, my favorite part. It's one of those things that has to be done right or it isn't good.

:rotfl2: good idea...I may have to save that for our christmas card collage. i think I'm going to do a bloopers eddition this year just to liven things up

I imagine they were feeling sorry for the poor husband..

AK can feel crowed pretty fast just because of the way it's designed..it's got to be even worse in the summer with all the extra humidity from the plants.

I was kicked out of the house at 9 today and I can't check into the hotel untill 2, so i'm sitting in the mom-mobile parked at the hotel and using their free internet. i know, I'm living dangerously!

I'm using Ethan's tiny laptop which is really hard to use..I keep hitting the wrong thing.

sadly, no...d.jay seems to think we need to save money. I have no idea why.;)

We will be in Puyalp april 10 & 11 for a bowling tournament. How close are you? I'll probably drive up the 9th and head back the 11th in the evening.

You naughty wench! Pole dancing in AK and getting caught! I love it. You know how to live dangerously.

I love the food porn. That looks so much better than my chinesse take out.

Cute little doggie-sorry about your other one acting up. Skipped the bird pics :scared1: Great pole dancing pic! Those desserts looked yummy! Yay for another fun day!

you'd think the owner of the mary jane would notice they were missing a shoe.:confused3

They probably had both when they walked in but only took off one. Put the other one in their pocket for later and it fell out into the pool.

This is your brain on drugs -

We thought about putting it in lost and found...

Looks like you had a fab time in AK.

Love the photopass pictures. I wish they would not just take 3 quick ones but wait a second or 2 between each. My last trip we would get almost 3 identical pictures and sometimes none were all the good.

Can't wait to hear about the cab ride.

Hope you are surviving in the hotel.

Hopefully you'll be able to find enough. ;)
I don't forsee that as a problem....maybe which ones are appropriate..

Yeah, some photopass cm's are a little more excited to be there than others.
