As a DVC member, what could be more exciting than finding out that your daughter’s dance team is doing their nationals at Disney! We are so excited. DD is 14 and has been to Disney or on a Disney cruised every year since 2005, she is not tired of it, and she loves it, as do I. We are leaving my son and DH at home and added on 4 nights after the competition is over.
Our plan so far is to fly in on July 3rd and home on July 14th. We are staying with the dance team at the Dolphin from the 3rd checking out on the 10th and checking into the Boardwalk Villas, (our home resort) one bedroom, Boardwalk view.
The competition schedule doesn’t become available to us until about 2 weeks before hand, so we will be unable to plan much for those days, July 5th – 9. I can make plans for the 3rd and 4th, and of course the 10th – 14th!
We’ve never been to Disney over such a big holiday, I am hoping it isn’t too crazy busy.
Since we will be at the Dolphin for the first 7 days, we are planning on changing the hotel at 7 months to a DVC that isn’t in the “Epcot Resorts Area”. DD is choosing the hotel, and has refused to tell me until a few days before the 7 month date. The suspense is killing me. I am hoping she has decided on a Magic Kingdom resort, I do however love Animal Kingdom Lodge, so I’d be ok with that too!
