Dance Moms - anyone still watching?

I've seen some of her updates. I'd like to know how she rates next to the other dancers in the studio. I wonder if she learned enough at ALS. She doesn't seem to stand out with her new studio like she did at ALS.

If you follow Christi on Twitter she has posted a couple of music videos that Chloe has starred in. I do miss them both on Dance Moms but understand they are both in a better place now.

Maddy gets her "faces" straight from looking at the dumb faces her mom makes. I can't stand Melissa! I never could and I can even less now. She just honestly looks like nothing is going on in her brain. She follows Abby like a lost puppy. I wonder what their father thinks of this?

I don't get what Abby said about JoJo and how she doesn't care for her in regards to dancing. But Abby made her an official member of the ALDC, do you think production made her since she had to sign a contract or something? Why would she be a member of the team but Abby doesn't care about her dancing? Does she regret her decision but can't back out of it because of the show's contracts?

And what's up with Kira and Kalani? They have been acting strange this season. I bet Kira just wants out. She hasn't looked like she has in the previous seasons. She doesn't seem put together and "camera ready" or something (not like her old look was good!).

One thing I really enjoyed was the video for the show that all the girls were in. It was uplifting to see the girls, all together, genuinely having fun and dancing!

I agree that Kira is acting different from last season. She seems quiet. Maybe she actually has some integrity and won't play the reality TV show drama game.

"The Maddie face" is huge in internet discussions apparently. I've been told producers monitor a lot of the social media and internet chatter and try to hit on those topics in the show to keep generating discussion and viewers. I wouldn't doubt Abby is requested to keep praising the Maddie face and blatantly favor Maddie to keep things buzzing.

I thought the little girl that won the solo this week was a little scary. She looked like a twirling robot machine. I do not like that style of dancing for young girls.

I felt bad for Mack once again. And I was happy the group came in second, that Maddie didn't "save the day".

They aired a "fan favorite" episode the other day that was 4-5 years old. WOW!! Why was this a show back then even?? I can't believe how huge Abby was, and watching the girls dance was nothing special. I guess the moms bickering is what has always sold this show....

Also, is anyone else buying the bs Abby is telling as to how she lost the weight??? Shes claiming that she filled a prescription in Australia which made her throw up, and not want to eat at all. Call me crazy, but if that were happening to me, I'd seek some medical attention, not just go with it!! My money is on a story about her having a gastro bypass coming out in 6 months!

I love when Melissa just keeps saying "Abby knows best", but you're their MOTHER!

For as much as Abby bashes JoJo about being late all the time in the dances, Kendall appeared to be late in that last group routine a few times IMO.

Yea, Abby's weight loss story just doesn't add up. I can see how the stress of her mother dying and the lawsuits will affect her like this though. I would believe she's had gastro bypass but you can usually tell when people have had that, and right now anyway she doesn't have that look. Maybe when she loses more?

I bet she took HCG. The shots require a prescription. You lose a lot of weight in a very short amount of time. It would be easy for her to do it covertly.

I'm glad their "competitors" are murrietta dance instead of the apples. I much prefer to watch mdp dance, and Kathy was annoying, although Erin babbs is starting to be annoying, too, making her kids be disrespectful in the hallway.

Did anyone watch last night's episode? Why the heck was Abby walking around in her bra at the end of the show, after the blow up with Kira? LOL I laughed so hard at that part! She left the room with a shirt on, then she comes back in with her shirt at her waist and her white bra on.

I just love this show!

I saw on after buzz (I think it was after one of the Australia episodes ) that they have to stop filming if someone removes their shirt.


Abby is just awful. I can't believe she pushed Nia,Jojo and Kalian away. Once again, Nia is the only one if the girls who will stand up to Abby. She does it in a respectful manner, but Abby can not stand it.

I was finally able to watch last weeks episode today. Jojo is such a happy, positive girl. It's a shame that Abby treats her the way she does. I admire her ability to continue on with a smile on her face when Abby can be so ugly to her.

I wonder why Abby has not done one of those special routines like she used to do. Like the one about texting and driving and another about a little girl being abducted. That other studio did such a good job with the monsters under the bed.

I just can't imagine why another studio would want to get drawn into all the madness. I wonder if the show hurt or helped Candy Apples.

Ugh. I rolled my eyes so hard. I had to watch her twice Tuesday night. I couldn't escape the Maddie face lol.

I didn't get why Abby just walked out in a bra either! What was that?? And how rude she pushed some of the kids away. I don't understand how she's ripping the producers and blaming editing when THIS STUFF COMES OUT OF HER OWN MOUTH. She's so rude.

What kills me the most is she tells all the girls that no matter what happens, suck it up, don't let anyone see you cry yada yada yada. Then the second the moms back her against a wall a.k.a. THEY ARE RIGHT AND SHE CAN'T DENY IT she brings out the water works. Pathetic! While I semi agree with her that these kids have been studying so long, they shouldn't be regressing so severely because of missing a few weeks of classes, obviously they are. You were wrong, the moms are right - Be the bigger person and realize/admit it.
