Dance Moms - anyone still watching?

I guess I still want to know how the heck they won 2 weeks ago when they couldn't hear the music? From the parts that they showed it looked like Candy Apples was a lot better that week.

I thought all the routines were good this week. Nia was cute in her solo. I'm totally wondering the real reason she was pulled from the group number.

Doesn't Christy just makes the most awful unflattering faces? It hurts me to look at her sometimes!

I love the faces Christy makes. She cracks me up lol.

And I definitely think Candy Apples should have won last week. I thought they were way better! ALDC's routine this week was great though. Something different. I like Gia much more than Abby that's for sure. "The girls are sending you their love." "I don't need their love, I need them to win." Such a peach she is!

OMG I know... I was dying watching last night!!! At least she just lip synched and didn't sing. I was hoping she wouldn't pick her, Maddie looked ticked off when she was "thinking" about it too.

I was like 'don't pick her Mackenzie!' Do something on your own. Be the star for once without your sister taking it over. It sounds terrible but I really don't like Maddie. I think she's a little control freak.

I caught up with the last episode.
Did the new team REALLY beat the original team?
Was it because Maddie was on it? (I personally don't think she made that much of a difference in the routine)
And OF COURSE Kamryn wouldn't be put against Maddie. But I'm so glad Chloe took first. She deserved it...she danced beautifully!!

I hate that she never puts anybody new up against Maddie. Challenge the girl. She makes it a point to do it to everyone else but not her darling Maddie. She needs to learn she's not going to be the best all the time.

Did anyone notice she announced the songs this week and they were well-known ones? Then when they were performing the dances they of course used a different song. That really bugged me as I could've enjoyed them more with the correct music.

I can't stand Christy, but I feel like the manner in which her scenes were arranged was very... juvenile, as if a bunch of middle school students were behind the camera saying, "LOL, look at this fatty being annoying. Wait, you'll love the way we show her at awkward angles so that her chins stick out oddly. Don't you just HATE her?"

Her personality is honestly just so grating to me that I'd be glad to never see her on the show again, but there was a noticeable difference in the way she was filmed as opposed to how the other moms were filmed.

I think that's because they usually don't have the rights to play the real songs on tv.

Saying she didn't deserve first because she has fans and followers and doesn't come to class. The judges told her they can only judge Chloe by what they see on stage.

Chloe winning is the only thing that will keep us watching. I am so weary of the Maddie show. Hey, maybe Abby can put every top dancer in the country on one of her teams and choose not to put them up against Maddie.

Way to back up your kids. Chloe is one of the only reasons I'm still watching. I roll my eyes whenever she starts to go on and on about Maddie.

Chloe has natural talent that makes her as good as Maddie without putting in the hours Maddie does. I think if she spent the time in classes that Maddie does she would easily be better than Maddie. But she is a kid, and very few kids have the dedication Maddie does to give up being a kid and live at the studio.

I just saw that kid Jalen(sp)that used to dance for Candy Apples on ABC World News tonight. He was the little guy who was always spinning on his head and had the dad who was pretty vocal. Seems like dad is out for more publicity. I thought it was interesting that they mentioned several things he had performed in but no mention of Dance Moms. It was definitely him and his dad. Also has a couple of younger siblings. Said the kids come home from school and have to jump rope, dance, etc. to music every day.

Did anyone watch the "Girl Talk" special with the girls? I thought it was really well done. Kinda gave me the thought that a lot of this is edited to look a lot worse than it really is.
These girls are happy dancers and friends!

I didn't really like seeing the girls doing the show, it seemed unfair to have them in very specific pairs or threes. I did like that Chloe seemed to be the host or moderator. It seemed very forced to ask them what their favorite dances were of themselves and what they like about each other, and to ask about Brooke and Paige was in very poor taste... And poor Vivy having to endure being asked about having a crush on one of the boys and if she likes the dancing part or hanging out part of being around her Mom.
