Dance Moms - anyone still watching?

I just don't understand how having an 11 year old dancing around represents the song. It was cool to see her do someone else's choreography. There were a couple of trademark Abby aerials that seemed out of place. I did like the kicks where her leg was bent over her arm. Those really long takes were impressive too. This is Maddie's fourth music video, so that's nice for her. I just personally thought she looked out of place.

So I didn't realize there would be a new episode this week and WOW what an episode.. It is the re-telling of the rivalry between Chloe and Maddie and also where the issues started with Christie and basically everyone else. I didn't watch this show season 1 so I had no idea where all this came from. It is also very clear where the producer aligns his loyalties by his commentary. Also it is shocking how plain and dowdy Miss Abby was back in the day.

Just watched Ellen & saw Maddie dance to Sia singing her song. Really strange dance.... Also strange that Sia sings with her back to the audience!! Maddie has really gotten tall too!!

Wow, kudos to Maddie! That was the best I've seen her perform.

I love watching the girls dance, but the drama from the Moms and Abby is foolish. The money must be worth it for them to make fools of themselves.

Cute video, but I think Nia is the only one who sounds really good. McKenzie and Maddie should stick to dancing. They sound awful.

An obvious exclusion of Chloe. Is she officially gone from the show?

I didn't know if I was amused or annoyed at the whole Disney overtone of it. Makes me wonder if there are any trademark or copyright violations.

Loved Nia, as usual. For some reason, it seemed like Kendall really stood out to me, much more so than Maddie. And that's a good thing! The only thing missing was Kathy as an evil stepmother or Ursula.

And I hate autotune, but I guess that's better than hearing Mackenzie or Maddie's real voice.

Nia is a doll!!! I think all the girls adorable but after watching all the Dance Mom seasons with my daughter I really think Maddie has a nasty side to her and it is apparent from a few episodes she is definitely a sore loser.

I agree. But between Abby and Melissa as the primary adults in her life, how could she not turn out that way?

I think she must be.. I follow most of the moms & Abby on Twitter & Chloe is not pictured in any of the posters being used for all the master classes etc that they've been advertising for months. Chloe & Christy seem to be doing their own meet & greets. Guess we will know for sure soon

July 29. She's still on the show, this was actually shot while last season was airing. According to one of the choreographers Abby just didn't want her to be in it. (Yes, I actually read the comments and then went and watched the whole 53 minute video where the choreographer actually said it. Because I had to confirm for myself that an adult would behave that way towards a child.)

I think I saw that as a teaser at the bottom of another article I was reading. I didn't click on it to confirm, because I don't care, and I assumed it wasn't true.

My kids watch Dance Moms everyday on Lifetime Rewind everyday and yesterday the episode was the one where Abby's dog died and there was a scene in her kitchen and I saw a few Mickey things. Also, Abby has a vacation home in Orlando so I bet she is a Disney fan

In the comments section of the music video clip, people were saying that Chloe no longer is a member of the ALDC, but she still is on contract with the tv show. So...at non-tv show ALDC events/activities, Chloe wouldn't be there, but competitions, etc. for "Dance Moms" she would be there. Not sure if this is true, but that's what others were saying.
