Dance costume question

That sounds cute. We did a tap number to Route 66 (Rascal Flatts version) wearing jean's (rolled up), leotard with white button down shirt and a scarf tied around our neck.

Off topic - but have your dancers ever had a problem with music when performing? In our 2010 recital, the person running the soundboard hit the wrong button before the song was finished. It was a tap number to the song Rock It. Our students didn't miss a beat. They finished the song (steps) for the number and everyone thought that was the way it was supposed to be.

It's been awhile, but over the years there have been the oopsies with the music. You can always tell which dancers have been dancing for awhile and are in many different classes vs those who do just one class or haven't been dancing for very long. The sudden stopping of the dance with the deer in the head light look tends to give those away who aren't prepared for it.

The competition teachers, have been know to make up a goofed up copy, just to keep the comp kids on their toes.
