I'm also in favor of a Dan Murphy Day!

In 2001 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Dan was there to cheer me on and introduce me to a bunch of survivors. I'm not sure he realized how much he helped me in those early days. He "held my hand" and gave me so much hope. We've never met face to face, but we've met heart to heart. I'll always love him and his wonderful wife Marie.

Dan is a terrific guy with a BIG heart. He also has a wonderful wife, Marie. I love the pictures he post and he was very helpful when I was learning to post pictures. I haven't seen Dan in person that last several years...guess I need a trip to Chicago

I'm the one who said he reminded me of a Captain Kangaroo type.

Dan's a faithful friend who has stuck with me through ups and downs and good and bad. He is special to my whole family. I think the world of him and hope someday to get to meet Marie.

The first time I met Dan, I was at Downtown Disney shopping in the World of Disney store. I heard someone calling my name from a distance...It was the infamous, Dan! He said he knew it was me from my pictures on the DIS!

Am looking at a pix of Dan with my friend Peggie (Mickey527) and I at the Fantasmic show after we (incl my DH) all went to supper at the Prime Time Cafe. He is truly a generous man, looks for the best in a person and is a wonderful family man!!

I first came here in May of 2001 (geez almost 7 years ago) and Dan was one of the first people to send me a PM and chat with me. Dan is so nice!

I've been around along time - back in the days when day practically lived on the community board. He is such a nice guy - one of the first to make me feel at home. Luv ya Dan.

We share we laugh we cry. Dan is like an old friend - he has lost his beloved dog, gained a grandson.

Dan is quite a person! Wish I knew more like him! He cheered me up on the phone when I had a blood clot, he sent me an e-card on my birthday. And another one on Mother's Day!
