Haha! Back in 1975 - 76, I bought a copy (album) of Suvenirs. I wore it out I played it so much. So in 1977, I bought another copy. I wore it out because I played it so much. So in 1978, I bought another copy. I think it may be floating around here somewhere or I may have thrown it out because it was so worn out.

I love his Love Songs CD. I play it often.

AOL advertised that they would hold a chat session with him one night, so I sat it on it. It was great. It fekt so good to say thank you to him for years of great music.

Maggie, a couple of weeks ago I bought his greatest hits cd. It's wonderful. There's about 7 songs on there that make me cry like a blubbering idiot though. Well, maybe 10 songs on there.

I'd loved to have sat on in that chat session.

Shannon - I don't remember where or how I saw that advertised, but if I ever see that AOL hosts another night with him, I'll let you know. It was kind of exciting and definitely intertesting and fun to sit in on.

Which songs are on his Greatest Hits CD? (I love greatest hits cd's, the best of the best. )

I love Heart Hotels, As the Raven Flies, Changing Horses, Part of the Plan and You Better Change. Ahh, I love them all! LOL! The only two that make me cry, almost everytime I hear them are Another Auld Lang Syne and Leader of the Band. A Place in the World for a Gambler gets me sometimes too.

I love listening to Dan. I got to see him in person, I won tickets about 8 yrs ago and didn't know who he was or what he sang. What a concert he gave, I love his miusic

Go Shannon! I got to see him a couple of times (at the Tower Theater. Cindy B knows that place, I'm sure ). He is excellent in concert. You will love it! He stays true to his songs, if you know what I mean? If it's the summer and an outdoor venue, take the kids! That would be an excellent family concert!

That's an excellent CD! I love Lonely in Love and Make Love Stay.

Yeah Cindy, I had that in my signature for New Year's. I think it's such a romantic song. I think most if not all of us can relate to it ...

Longer and Same Old Lang Syne are 2 of the biggies that make me mellow and make me cry. I have my sound muted.

I remember reading on a web site about him that when he moved to LA..his neighbors loved when he was at the piano as his music drifted through their homes....I would love to be a neighbor of his!...

I love Souvenirs...that song can make me cry any time anywhere...

I love the Netherlands too the music is amazing!...

Oh, and the first time I saw him in concert my older DSister had to DRAG me!...LOL...He had the Eagles singing back up with him that night at the Universal Ampitheater in LA...it was an amazing night and have loved him ever since!...

At the Tower, really? I can't imagine him playing there now though!

I have friends that live around the corner from the Tower, and well, mostly R&B acts, and urban acts.. I was shocked when the Rolling Stones played there a few months back.


I actually saw Sinead O Connor play there, back 13-14 years ago!

My DH would love to see him, I could go either way...

I'd either be crying buckets all the time or I'd have to be real neighborly and bake him lots of cakes and cookies so I could tell him thank you. He'd probably move if he was my neighbor.
