We let Dakota go yesterday. He was a very sick cat. It is so hard.

I'm so sorry. I had to let my beautiful kitty go a week ago for the same reason and even though I knew it was best for her, it broke my heart.

I'm so sorry.

We had to put our dog down almost a year ago now and it was incredibly difficult. I still miss him, but I know he deserved peace and a release from suffering and we did the right thing.... it gets easier. How lucky Dakota was to have an owner who loved him so much.

I'm so sorry. Dakota was a beautiful kitty. How long was he with you?

He was 12 and weighed in at 17 pounds until he got sick a month or so ago. He completely quit eating and was losing a pound a week....just existing on water. He never complained, but we knew he was in pain.
