whoa girl, this is a busy pretrippie Finally got a chance to pop over and update myself on your plans. Can't wait to see how you guys get on and I'm really jealous of the Dream. I've not done the cruise but the UK Dis Ambassadors got to do a tour of the Magic last summer while it was in dock and we had a blast just doing that. Say hi to Mickey for me...tell him I'll see him soon.

I am trying to gather up Claires things to bring for entertainment on the plane. I figure a coloring book, crayons, her mp3 player, and her cyperpocket will be good. I went in panic mode last night. That dang mp3 walked away. I usually keep it and the headphones in either her leapster case or cyberpocket case (both are actually Disney soft sided lunch boxes that I got on clearance, one Jessie and one is Perry the Platypus) It wasn't there and I went on a mad search last night at 10 PM. About 11 I gave up and walked into my room to go to bed...and what do I see on my Cedar chest...the stupid MP3! I must've walked by it daily for a month and didn't realize I had put it there for safe keeping. So now that is on the charger getting ready to be packed. I will charge her batteries for the cyberpocket and she will be good to go!
I gave my dad a haircut last night, and trimmed Claire's bangs as well. So they will be all set. Mom is worried her and dad won't have enough room in 2 suitcases. I'm not sure what the heck she is packing, because I have all the toiletries we need (dad will just need his for his few days with out us)., plus I have several Princess dress and we are fine. I was actually hoping they would have less in case we needed room to to pack stuff we bought to bring home. She talked about checking a 3rd bag for them, but I don't know if we'll have enough room in the rental car for all the bags and a stroller too.
They have decided to drive there car to the ariport and leave it (not sure why since we only live about 15 minutes from the airport) and Skip will just take Claire and I then.Skip could easily make two trips if they just drove to our house and left the car there. But thats OK, they can do that if they want.

I am now going to try and clean up the house a bit. Get it "trip ready". Hopefully Skip keeps it decent while we are gone. I told him I didn't want to find a pile of dishes in the sink. (For some reason that extra step to the dishwasher is very hard for a man to make! )
Claire has dance tonight, We go to the circus tomorrow evening, Claire has a playdate on Sunday and Monday I get my haircolor touched up by my friend. Her DD is in Claire's class, so it will be another playdate while we do that. Nothing set for Tuesday yet, but I'm sure I'll be antsy that day!

Wow, your cruise is almost here!! Sounds like you have plenty of things to do to keep your mind off the anticipation. We haven't been on a Disney cruise since our little guy was 6 months old, and now he is going to be 7 next month!

Maybe you can show your mom and dad that video about bundle packing. I did that for our trip and we got all four of us packed in 1 suitcase and 2 carryons. Nothing was wrinkled in the suitcase either! Of course we only stayed for 4 days, but I am an overpacker by nature.

I think they will be fine. I don't know why they need so much.
No me, I'm worried about weight. I have fish extender gifts packed, and little gifts, etc. I guess if it's too much on the way back we can check a carryon in and then use/buy a totebag for extras to come on the plane with us.

I've seen you on other TRs, so I decided to check yours out. I started reading yesterday & finished it today. You poor thing, this trip will be a welcome rest from all of the drama!

Claire is so pretty & I love her dresses. The peacock costume was the cutest thig ever, my DH even liked it.

I, too thought that a passport was needed now for a cruise. I'm glad to find our that I don't need a passport. Last time I cruised was quite a while ago & was a horrible trip, so we haven't done a cruise since.

It's been a long road to get here. I just wish Skip could still be joining us! I love that peacock costume too. I swear we thought she was so cute, but then laughed hysterically at her too.
I think it's certain cruises that don't need them. They have to be closed looped and I think it's mostly Caribbean destinations. I would actually feel better having one, but Skip thinks if you don't "HAVE" to have them, why shell out the money.
What cruise line did you go with? Thats awful it was so bad. I must say though, it's not for everyone. Skip likes it, but he also gets a little antsy on sea days. Well we only had one on the cruise we went on together, but he had neough of being cooped up...even though we really weren't.

I just read all gazillion pages in 3 days. Do I get a cookie or something? I was so sad to hear you've gotten rid of her old dresses. As I was reading I was thinking I'd make you an offer on them. My princess is only 6 weeks old, but I have the urge to start buying princess stuff now.


I am drooling just thinking of LeCellier. I've eaten there twice, both at lunch time and we left so full we never ate dinner both times. I could fill up on the pretzel breadsticks alone. I dream of those. We ask our server to forget the regular breadsticks and fill up the basket with just the pretzel ones. OMG, to die for. The cheddar soup is awesome as well.
