Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

Hey Jen, happy 7 days!!:woohoo: Good grief, it's going to fly now!

We've never done the park hoppers so I can't really help you out in that way. They've just never appealed to us since we always go during the slow times of the year. If it were me, I'd probably just wait and play it by ear. How's that for being unhelpful!

I think I will wait and see. For one, there is now rain forcasted for both our Disney days, and if it rains, I will NOT park hop for sure. I know we wil lbe fine if we don't hop, since we normally don't anyways. I guess I keep thinking I want to see as much as possible since I don't know when we'll be back. But I'm sure we'll be back at some time.

OMG! I've haven't been on here in a while and what has happened.

I'm glad that your mom was able to take Skip's place and your dad will also be joining you.

Hope all goes well in the next 7 days :cool1:

Yes, lots of changes. Hopefully things wil lgo as planned this time around! :confused3

I know AAA has different regions so I'm not sure their websites are the same, but I just go to their website, the travel section, hotels, and then fill in the information, like dates, where you want to go, so put in Orlando, FL, then you can sort the hotels by name, click on the "R" for Residence and choose which hotel is yours. They usually have a description of the hotel and maybe a review, but somewhere there it will list the amenities and it should say like "shuttle service to attractions" - if that's all it says, I would just call the hotel and ask for the front desk or concierge desk and get all that information. I know we stayed in Kissimmee one year at some chain hotel, but they had scheduled shuttle service to Disney. I would just call the individual hotel to confirm.

Thanks. I think I might call the hotel. Mostly because it would be nice not to drive to Sea World, but if the shuttle times are weird then we will.

Jen... I wouldn't worry about the rain. I know the forecast will change by then. :goodvibes

Happy 6 Days!!!!!

It keeps changing anyways. Now my Disney days are sunny and my sea world day is calling for rain. I don't even think they will know till that day and then still guess. :rolleyes1

Don't worry about rain, the week before our trip it was forcast to rain almost everyday! Actual rain-one night.

I have a question for you, all knowing Disney person :worship: My DH wants to switch resorts now :headache:I currently have free dining for Sept, will we lose it if we switch? Thanks,

Carey

You shouldn't, but some CM's are not knowledgable. So if you get a CM that says no, then call back. LOL!

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!! for being down to SIX days!!!!!

Now you get..... SIX dancing bananas!

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I'll be happy when it's one banana...or better yet NO bananas!!!

So once we get down to 0........ I'll expect you to start sending them to me, right? I have nothing to count down or anything, but heck, who wouldn't want to start a day with dancing bananas! :rotfl:

Thanks, I'm going to call in a bit..

ps. I think with everything you've gone through with this trip, you would have gone bananas :lmao:

Hi Jen,
I was reading through the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique threads trying to get some information for a friend planning her first trip with 3 girls when your pictures caught my attention. I clicked on the trip report link in your signature and I've been hooked for the past few days. I'm only at page 20, so there is a lot of reading left to do.

Its like reading a book and you're dying to know what happens in the end, but you don't dare peak to the last chapter. I know you are going since I see your countdown is 6 days away. But how did you get there? Did Skip get his hip problems taken care of? Did you get to rebook AKL? What do you have planned for this trip? But the most important question, did you get the MIL under control and tell her little hind-end to take a hike? (Did I say that?) So many questions I'm dying to know, but I'm not going to peak to the "end of the book." I'll keep on reading all the pages and try to get caught up soon. This is really like reading a book. I've spent hours on it so far.

I live right outside Columbus and I was wondering why you never flew out of Columbus and why you would go the whole way up to Detroit. Then my tired brain finally came around and realized Toledo is "up there" not "over there." I don't know why, but I've always mixed up Toledo and Dayton in my head. I'm not a native Ohioan (my family calls me an Ohesian).

I've been to WDW 10 times since 2001 so my friends ask me for trip planning advice. When my friend asked me about princess stuff and BBB, I had to do some research since I have a son who is not into princess stuff. Tyler is 7 and we gave up a few years ago trying for a sibling, and then suddenly Isabelle surprised us. She is 5 weeks old. So now while I'm helping my friend plan BBB and princess stuff I can start thinking of all the girlie things I can do with Belle as she grows up.

Oh, and I have a little secret. Her daddy is not into Disney and doesn't understand my obsession of WDW when I could just go to Cedar Point for a lot cheaper. So he doesn't have to know I named Isabelle and spelled it that way on purpose, in honor of my favorite Princess Belle. He would throw a fit if he know I gave her a Disney name. :)

Sorry to hijack your thread and countdown excitement. I just wanted to introduce myself. Whenever I wake up for a baby feeding I grab the laptop off the night stand and read a page or two of your trip report.

Welcome to my drama! :rotfl: It's a long rode and if you want to skip ahead to the most current stuff (I have the page number in the first post) go for it. I don't blame you at all. You will be totally shocked at the end results...at this point...because with me anything can happen or change! LOL! But I sure hope nothing else does at this point. Lets just say we had ANOTHER change about a week or so ago too. And I hope this is it. I think I will be in the looney bin if something else happens.
Congrats on your new baby girl. I love BBB. It was such a fabulous experience. Your little girl will be ready to go before you even know it. Just enjoy the years as they go, they grow up so fast.

For anyone that cares, here is the link to the blog I have started. I am slowly putting a lot of my Disney pictures up on it.
I've been doing it off and on for a few weeks. It's just time consuming and I get a neck ache sitting here for long.
But if you want to check it out or have suggestions, I would love to hear.
