Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

Gosh, that was one rude postal worker! :scared1:

Can't help on the passports though, as WE do NEED passports travelling from Europe anyway! ;)

Yeah for the extended park hours - try to stay at the park if Claire can manage, it is the MOST fun in the early morning hours! :woohoo: Walk ons and fun CMs! :thumbsup2

Yeah, yeah for being able to see MSEP! Beware it IS different to Spectro. I have never been a huge fan of Spectro, but LOVE MSEP - something to do with it being the first Disney evening parade in Walt's very first park; that we ever saw!

And ........

:woohoo: :cheer2: :woohoo: :cheer2: SINGE DIGITS :cheer2: :woohoo: :cheer2: :woohoo:

So, so, so, so, so jealous! I want my first cruise to be a Disney cruise (someday) - I'm just curious, our kids are pretty much grownish - and my husband and I aren't seniors but fiftyish (he is, I'm still 23:rotfl:) and I wonder if many people our age, without children go on Disney cruises?

Sorry about the lady giving you a hard time with the passports.. I think when I was questioning you about that I was at least being friendly about it! :lmao::lmao:

Yes you were.. :rotfl:

I was really unsure about MSEP until I couldn't see it, then it kind of bugged me that I couldn't. Now that I'll be able to, I am happy again. If Claire doesn't want to stay, I may send her with my parents when they go back. I have stayed as late at 1ish I think before, and we loved it, but we did get too tired. Well Claire couldn't keep going anymore but she was 2 then. I don't need sleep, I can sleep at home! :wizard:

I have heard many go without kids. Karin (Dizneeat) goes all the time without kids.I guess it depends on your taste. My parents are thinking about going without kids too. My mom said this will help her make up her mind...if not they will do another line.
I told her if she needed kids to make it fun, Claire and I would be happy to join them next year! :thumbsup2

:dance3::cheer2: for the single digits!! Your getting me all excited and I'm not even going!

I hope the parks extend the hours for you. MK was open till 3:00am our last trip and River rode Space Mountain at 2:59am we had the best time and had the park almost all to ourselves!

I think when you get back from your trip you should go tell that postal worker how much fun you had getting on and off the ship!

I know. I was thinking of handing her a picture with me and my birth certificate! LOL!

Yea for the later times at MK. I liked the MSEP, I got some decent pictures, and some sucky ones:lmao:
Maybe we have related postal ladies. My lady yells at my DH ever time we get a package that doesn't fit in our PO box. They put a yellow slip to let us know we have a pkg, but then acts put out to go get it. My town has a pop of 1,200. It's not like going through a million boxes! She once told my DH that Fedex ships too! What a crank.

My actual mailman leaves a lot of my stuff at MIL's house because he can drive in a cricle in her driveway and doesn't have to back out. It really irritates me. She never tells me when I get stuff...she tells Skip and he will go for days before he tells me. I think she does it to try to get me in trouble for buying something. When we got the Disney tickets in the mail, they went to her house and she gave them to Skip and he took them out to the barn. He told me to come get them and I did and 5 seconds after I got in the house she called and asked if I ever got the package that came....and was hinting that she wanted to know what it was. Skip told me not to tell anyone yet, so I just said yes and told her I wasn't sure why it was delivered to her.

I was actually at the post office yesterday because we had a package and the sub driver left the slip in my mailbox Sat. It said attempted to deliver as it needed a signature...I was home and Skip was home...they never came to the door. My MIL said she saw her drive by and she never even pulled in my driveway. So then I had to wait till Monday morning to get it.

We're getting there. :worship:
How did your friends like their cruise? I heard the the computers had crashed that day and thats why they couldn't board till late.

They liked it but they weren't sure it was worth the price. Luckily for them Dave's work paid for the trip. They also couldn't get either kid to go into the kids area so they didn't get a break. LOL

Yea, they said it was horrible waiting to get on the ship. :sad2:

ETA: Branda told Mel she would rather put that money towards renting a house another week and going to the parks. LOL

But I think after 8 days in Disney they were already wiped out.

It is a hefty price...especially this time of year. Have they ever cruised before? Not everyone likes cruising either. I do, but it's been awhile, so we'll see how it turns out. Bummer that the kids wouldn't go to the clubs though.

I just read the first 12 pages of your PTR straight through. Wow - what a very entertaining beginning. Your daughter is gorgeous. congrats on your upcoming trip. I hope you have a wonderful time.

Welcome to the madness that is my PTR! :rotfl: I have had lots of plans changed, and knock on wood it is now all settled!

I'm sorry your post office is so screwy. I can't believe that lady was so in your face about it. She's probably just bitter that she can't go on a cruise!!! You are going to have such an awesome time.

I totally agree about some people just not liking cruises in general. And I really think people who have been on a cruise before and then go on the Dream will have a much better appreciation of why the cost is more. I wouldn't pay the extra money for their older ships, but the Dream is probably one of the most advanced ships at sea... I am totally willing to shell out twice the cost of the average cruise for the chance to sail on the Dream! :rotfl:

7 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having a delima....and need some input on your thoughts.
My mom called last night and asked if I had park hoppers. I told her yes and no. 3 of the tickets we have are 1 day park hoppers (from 1999) and 1 ticket for an adult is not and Claire has just a regular ticket.
She said she bought park hoppers for Dad and they would like to go to AK on Sunday first, then head over the MK later...fine...but I actually have been debating adding a park hopper to Claires over the last few weeks and doing the same thing. Claire has said numerous times she would like to try Expedition Everest. And I KNOW MK is going to be insanely busy that afternoon. I just don't know if I want to shell out that extra money for one day of hopping. But then I have some more great picture taking opportunities as well.
On Tuesday when we go to Epcot, Claire and I could walk over to the Studios for a bit and check it out for an hour or two as well then. OR after Epcot we could head over to MK again since it is open till midnight that night. The only thing is, we won't be staying on site that night and mom won't be able to hop as well that day (unless she upgrades that 1 day ticket), so they will most likely drive back to the hotel.
But Claire and I will need to get back, but much later. I don't know if I could get a taxi from MK and take it back (and then how much the cost would be) Or they could take a taxi? or if dad would come back and get us, and if so where would he be able to pick us up at? Should we bus it to a resort..or take the monorail to one of the MK resorts and then have him pick us up there?
Or just forget the whole hopping thing altogether for Claire and I. :rolleyes1
I keep going back and forth on this. But I feel if I do get the hoppers for Claire I should probably try to use them both days to get the monies worth out of them.

We had park hoppers and we only used them once:confused3 I should have saved the money. Park hopping takes quite a chunk of time out of your day.I guess it depends on how much time you have or want to spend at each place. And, since your going at a busy time, anymajor rides Claire may have long waits, or the fast pass return maybe hours later than you have at the park. We took a taxi fron POR to Seaworld and back. It was $25 each way (that included tip).

I'm glad your parents are willing to do their own thing, that put no expectations on you to be somewhere at a certian time.
YEA! One Week :cool1:

I really am debating it. I would only have to upgrade Claire, so the cost isn't soooo bad, but still will it be worth it? I have to do more thinking. :rolleyes1
$25 wouldn't be too bad. I was thinking it would be like $40ish.
