Do these actually work? I'm always tempted to buy something like the Scrubbing Bubbles thing where you just push a button once a day to keep the shower clean. Then I always end up putting it back on the shelf, thinking it won't work the way it is advertised. Does anyone have/use a daily shower cleaner that really works? If so, what kind??

I have one and it works but pretty much only for the small, stall-type showers. For a full size shower/bathtub combo, the spray doesn't go far enough out to the back wall.

I have one too and it works fine for a small stall shower like the previous poster reported. I think they are worth it to buy, sure helps cut down how often you have to deep clean it! There was a thread on the budget board about this a few months ago and most people didn't care for them, but I have to disagree.

We just got one. It works ok, but I don't think it is a replacement for cleaning- it just buys you an extra day or two. IMO the cost and waste outweighs the benefit. DBF bought it, not me. It does make a good shower caddy though- if you do decide to buy it, go to their website. They have (had?) a free shower caddy attachment thing that I actually ordered before we got the cleaner.

I bought from Target a bottle of Method's daily shower cleaner that I have been using for about a month now.

I have found that it has been doing a pretty good job of keeping the shower clean. However, I have yet to determine if the price of the product of the product is more or less worth my time in cleaning the shower.

The best thing you can do for a shower each day is to get
a towel and dry out the inside after the last shower.

It reduces soap scum and moisture, thus mildew.

We love our scrubbing bubbles thingy, but I don't know if it's nothing that a shower spray couldn't do.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! I guess I'll just stick to cleaning my shower the old fashioned way, or maybe try that towel drying method. I love a clean shower but hate cleaning it. Maybe it truly is time to hire a housekeeper. :thumbsup2

I have to agree the towel works the best especially if your shower doors are clear glass like mine....

I looove mt scrubbing bubbles machine but then I have a small shower stall. Also--for glass/plastic shower stall doors try keeping a small squeegee and scrapping it down after your shower.

If you're wanting to try one, go to http://bzzagent.com/MemberEdit.do
They are a really neat company where they send you new products, you get to try them out for free, and then write about them, but you don't have to.
For instance, when the Take5 candy bars came out, I signed up for that campaign, they sent me a box of about 30 mini candy bars, and I got to try them out. Then you can write a report, take surverys, etc. on the product if you wish to.
There was also a coffee company that had a campaign I signed up, they sent me a bag of coffee and I got to try it out.

Right now, they are doing a campaign for the Scrubbing Bubbles daily shower cleaner. They send you one for free, and you try it out.

Sign up is free, the products you sign up to try are free, etc. It's alot of fun trying out new things and being able to voice your opinion about it! Definitly give it a try!
If you have any questions- feel free to ask!!

I tested the scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner through bzzagent before it came out. It doesn't really work for me because I have a bathtub shower. All it is is spray that swings around on a arm. It works the same as buying a bottle of spray and spraying your shower yourself. I wasn't all that impressed with it.

I wanted to get one, but I have brass fixtures and it says not to use it on brass. But I use a squeegie and then spray Clean Shower (only Clean Shower -- the other brands of shower spray don't seem to work as well in my opinion) and I really like how it works. No soap scum buildup and the shower always looks clean. We give it a "real" cleaning once a week, but it's definitely a much easier task if we do the squeegie/Clean Shower routine every day, especially because I have a glass door, too.

I use Arm & Hammer Clean Shower. You spray this after each use. No need to wipe the shower. This stuff works great. I have been using it for years now. My shower is always clean. Wouldn't use anything else.

YES, they work! I use Tilex Daily Shower spray. My glass doors are as clear and new as the day we bought the house.
