Daily Mousekeeping at DVC - OKW ??

Is Daily Mousekeeping available for an extra charge at OKW ? If so - How much ??????

Extra housekeeping service (at all DVC resorts) is:

$10 per day for a Trash/Towel

$25 per day for a Studio (Full cleaning/Linens/Towels/Supplies)

$30 per day for a 1BR

$40 per day for a 2BR

$60 per day for a GV

an extra set of soap/shampoo is $3

an extra coffee set is $3

A towel package (4 each bath towels/hand towels/washcloths and 1 bath mat) is $6

Tide detergent is $1

We have a 2 bed villa. According to our confirmation, we get full housekeeping 3 days into our stay then trash and towels 4 days after that. We are staying there for 12 nights. 9 days without a full clean sounds yucky having to clean it myself sounds even worse Can you arrange maybe just a couple of full cleans for $40 or can you only arrange this if you have it done daily ?

You can arrange for as many days as you like. But you may be surprised at how clean the room usually stays. I think that I would just see how it goes. If you think that you would like an extra houskeeping day you can just call Mousekeeping the night before.

Never knew we could get the little packet of detergent from Mousekeeping. I always trudge extra down with me. Won't be doing that anymore!

We have stayed for 10-12 days many times, and I usually have no trouble with the place staying clean. The only thing we often do is switch the full cleaning and T&T. I always feel like the cleaning is too early in the trip for changing linens etc. We prefer the T&T first and then the full cleaning. Just let them know when you check in. Last January we got an extra cleaning without asking for it. Someone in mousekeeping messed up!

We are going to 2 bdrm at OKW for the first time for only 4 nights. Does anyone know if we get any housekeeping during this short stay?

You will get trash & towel on day 4. Day 1 is your check-in day. So if you check-in on Sunday, T & T will be Wednesday. You can call housekeeping and have the day switched if you like. On a 4 night stay you might want to have it on day 3.

For a 12 night stay, you should be getting two full housekeeping and one trash and towel. That's how it's been on all of our 12 night stays.

Just to add , if you pay for daily housekeeping the service you get is unbelievable.
I would never pay for such a service but we treated my inlaws and booked a two bedroom and they paid for the service. (my wife has a retarded brother and they felt it necessary)
Dishes were done, sheets , towels etc.
vaccum , bathrooms and kitchen scrubbed , I even felt like thay cleaned the windows.
The room in my opinion every day of an eight night stay was far better than it usually is at check in.
I don't know if the maid gets a big chunk of tha cash charged but they do a far superior job than there normal cleaning beteween guests.
We are bringing the in laws again October 5th and they once again are paying for housekeeping (they thought it was well worth it)
