Happy Thursday morning! Hope everyone is feeling better.

My to do list:

Feed cats, one is very vocal this morning.
Wood in woodstove
fold laundry from dryer
write in DD's communication book
mail out bills
get dd up and ready for school
work
no swim tonight. DH has a meeting, and I can't drive at night. Doubt DD will mind missing one session.
watch dvr'd episode of Top Chef
place CM order for new goodies!

iron clothes for tomorrow

I can't wait for next week, only one meeting! Still no sign of the parts for my washer....UGH!!!!

I'm having a nerve conduction test on my left wrist today. Funny, since I made the appointment, it hasn't hurt as much, but the shoulder/neck is really bad. I wonder if I make the appointment with the orthopedic doctor that will feel better?

DH is feeling sick- a cold but he absolutely falls apart when he has one.

We are supposed to be having a day together at Disney- we will head up there at some point.

I am hoping to try the new Socerers of the MK game today but we will see.

Today:
Head to OKW
see DSis and nieces/nephews
make cards for dad with the kids
dinner- out
hot tub time

Dh to call eye dr about DD's contacts... they are weaker than the ones she currently has and now she isn't seeing well. I have called and am over the front desk girl..so DH is going to call in and request to talk directly to the dr to complain about this issue and his staff and to make him aware that after this correction we will be no longer using his service... so disappointing as we really like this Dr... however his staff is not personable nor helpful!

Good luck with the test - they're a bit of a pain! Just a random thought - do you hold your phone between your shoulder and your ear on that side? My neck shoulder was killing me last year - then I went on the pc cruise and it stopped hurting completely. Home for a week and it was back - I determined it was because I was spending hours on the phone with a friend in crisis with the phone between my shoulder and ear!

Now typing two handed

• figure out what's for dinner
• go buy yarn for the next afghan
• ice paw

p/u megan at 1045 - worked out great, they are doing a read-a-thon at school today, so she's not missing class work!!
shuttle p/u at 1140
arrive anaheim at 645 I will text Nan when we arrive!
get checked in and heading to Grand CA resort for a M & G with a DISer

tommorrow we are going on the Lights, Camera, Magic tour
Saturday MK am/DCA pm seeing World of Color
Sunday breakfast at goofy's kitchen then spending day with DIS previous MAW family we have gotten very close with!
Monday dinner at Blue Bayou - quick M &G afterwards with another DISer
Tuesday breakfast at Storytellers Cafe

we will also be meeting up with LaWannaYeager at some point this weekend! so will get to meet 4 new DISers....bringing our total to 20 in the past year!!!


have a great next few days.....will try to check in a couple of times!

Linda, good thought, but no, I am very conscious about holding my phone with a hand (and I barely ever talk on a real phone, just my cell, and I can't hold that with my shoulder!).

I have heard that the nerve conduction test is painful. My mother is coming with me, so I can hold her hand if I need to. My (very new) doctor thinks that the wrist pain is carpel tunnel and the shoulder is a touch of tendinitis. I think they are related, but I'm not a doctor, I only play one on the internet I was waiting to get the results of the EMT before I made the appointment with the ortho, hoping it was "just" the carpel tunnel. The neck pain is new and has gone from just the left side yesterday to both sides today. I was hoping it was just a bad night's sleep on Tuesday. Man, it sucks getting old.

Jennifer...I have tendinitas in both wrists from years of data work and cross stitching...both are better now without doing those things ...hope they can find out what's wrong and can fix it easily!!

P&PD to those who need it and are travelling.

We rescinded our offer on the house last night. They found a whole list of things wrong with it. but the kicker was fire damage that actually happened between the time I saw it and the time Ryan saw it, while our offer was on the table. not good business. so back to the drawing board yet again.

DD#3 and DS are still sleeping
We'll have a lazy morning
need to finish up a few invites for DD#2's bday party so I can drop them off at school
DD has dance at 1145, I also pick DD#2 up at 1145. So we'll see how things go

exactly. Since I'm pretty sure the bathroom had electricity when i was there ( double checking pics today) and the light was not hanging out of the ceiling. Dbf said it was when he was there but just thought they had pulled it down. Nope fire all through attic starting there. Was the perfect amount of space for just about the right price. And since its bank owned they wont fix it. Good luck to them in selling it for that much with that much damage.

Would have been nice to have a bit of an idea before spending the $500 for the inspector. He was a good guy though. Sure we'll use him again.

Yup, 500 we'll spent than a big old mortgage payment.. We are forever fixing things our inspector missed within the walls.. We found a major electrical line for a HEATER that was spliced together and held together with duct tape!!!! (not even electrical tape)....

On the bright side... we are taking in a find to a jeweler in the next few weeks.. DH was running a new wire for DS15's heater line (we are replacing them all) anyway...moved a piece of insulation in the basement and found a full wedding set (not sure if its a real diamond or cz).... so we are going to get it evaluated and decide what to do with it... if it's real.. I'm selling it!
