Celebrating my Daddy's 80th birthday today with a nap, spaghetti dinner for his culture and because he liked it too, as long as no spoons were used, and soon it will be cake time.
While daddy is not physically here anymore he is definitely still here with us. We have a message kept on our fridge. It reads, "A sadness that they are not here with us...that we can't say, 'Gosh, look what a great life I am having.' But there's that joy that because they were here with us this is the great life we're having. We're celebrated the joy we have in our life today because they were part of our life before."
