Most of the regulars are good about including their grains of salt. It is, after all, a rumors board. There is the occasional post that looks to be taking the info as fact--as if it's a done deal. Maybe there are more Balkis here than Cousin Larrys.
Historically, I'd say a new pavilion is obviously a very small chance, but I tend to take rumors as strictly that and don't put any stock in them for or against. I'm a very "let's see how it plays out" type person.
The fact there were donky rides as an attraction is something I tend to forget about Disney history. I guess being a WDW visitor and not really DL is why. I just found it hysterical that researching E ticket to come up with a reply showed that mule rides were one. I would have thought that was solidly an A or B at best.
And to me this just feels like a challenge..... anyone have Ben's number?I'm not gonna rely on ben affleck to save my kids lives, thank you very much...
He drinks more than me and beer Dave combined...
I was just listening to todays podcast & they mentioned how the Imagination pavillion could turn into an Inside out ride. Craig mentioned something about the old Wonders of Life pavillion. Now that screams like the perfect place for an Inside Out attraction.
Ironically, the Wonders of Life pavilion had an Inside Out attraction in 1989.
Cranium Command was one of my favorites. Frankly, I enjoyed that whole pavilion.
and if that attraction is still around in semiworking order one would think it would be pretty easy to re-theme to Inside Out
Yes. But one attraction doesn't make a pavilion. See horribly lame Imagination which theoretically has 2 attractions. One a ruined remnant and the other is a place to sit in the AC for a few minutes. Pavilions need more, see The Land. And more needs employees. And employees cost money. I really don't think WoL is going to reopen. I wish it would, but they need to backfill the problems with UoE, Imagination, and Innoventions, supposedly open sections that have nothing worthwhile in them, before they try and reopen a completely closed area.
But I miss WoL terribly. Cranium Command was so clever, Body Wars was more than serviceable at the time, the rest of the Pavilion was fine edutainment. I miss WoL more than I miss Horizons or WoM. Though I'd give them all up to have a good Imagination and Innoventions back.
Agree with this list, but add to Tron coaster - Tron mini-land, as rumor has it now the speedway upgrade will also be tron themed.Slightly revising my previous guess:
Epcot:
UoE replacement (still not convinced it's Guardians)
France attraction (Rata)
New country
Hints are changes to come in the future including concept art of the new Epcot Spine
DHS:
More Star Wars & Toy Story details
Great Movie Ride replacement
MK:
Tron Coaster
Other Tomorrowland improvements and vision (I've been told by good sources Tomorrowland is getting a lot of love).
Probably periscope or Facebook live.At the 2015 expo there were several (unofficial) live streams of the Parks presentation, does anyone know where I might be able to find one for tomorrow's? My roommate and I are planning to watch it (celebrating with some Disney inspired cocktails!)
Possible but I think WDW will be the focus. The new ships won't be out until after the next D23.Anyone think we will hear anything on the new cruise line ships in this panel?
