D23 Expo 2011! Who's attending?

I was at the 2009 expo and it was like drinking from a fire hose-sensory overload indeed but worth every second. and altho I am sure they will improve the wait times for a presentation, I decided to buy the sorcerer's package so am looking forward to the guaranteed seating and swag bag!

With less than 6 months until the Expo, I would think that there would start to be some type of lineup starting to come out.

I bought my regular tickets the day they started selling and made my reservations for the Best Western Stovall as soon as I was able to. I can't wait, this is my birthday treat as the first day of the Expo is my birthday.

We bought tickets to D23 but may not get to go because of work. But if we don't go then we will be going to Disneyland over Christmas because we have never visited over the Holidays.

I have booked my flight and hotel (Ramada) and can't wait for the expo. We went the year of the first expo but in October instead of Sept and I wish we had gone Bought my tix today!!

Well there is nothing like DL at Christmas. I would say either trip is going to be a guarantee good time. I am luckly this year and am able to do both. I just haven't made my ticker yet.

I couldn't believe I got $567 roundtrip from Toronto to LAX. I had to jump on it.

For how many people? Right now my prices are showing $504/person round trip and that is just way to high. Same thing happened back in '09 for the first Expo, prices were super high then all the sudden checked one day and they were cut in half so booked everything that day.

Here's hoping the prices will drop soon, cause that could very well make or break my entire trip.

Sorry for the change of subject but we've booked hotel stay at the convention center Hilton. Is it a reasonable walk to Disneyland or will we realistically have to find transportation on our own? We're taking a couple of extra days for the parks and it's our first time.

glenpreece, I'm glad you booked..I'm afraid airfare is just going to get higher with oil prices going up!

Hi Peepster. I have walked from the Hilton to DL. It is about 2 blocks. Not too bad. You could use ART. Can't wait for the EXPO!!

If you can walk around Disneyland without difficulty, you can walk from there to Disneyland without difficulty. It's really close for able bodied people.

yeah the prices of everything are going up sadly. still cheaper for things in the usa than in canada

After being the "the Planner" for WDW for all these years I'm feeling completely out of my depth with the Expo and visit to DL. Love hearing what all you have to say. Thanks for sharing (and please keep it coming!).

I felt the same way when we went two years ago. I know wdw in and out but DL was a whole new thing. I guess I over planned (is it possible?) too many days at DL. I am so used to spending a week at WDW that 4 days was more than enough at DL. I still can't get over only spending 3 days there in Aug beside the expo and a day in hollywood. I was goiung to do USH but don't want to cut back DL days. It's so amazing being able to walk from the hotel to the park. Just didn't like the annoying time share people on the sidewalks.
