If I had to guess. Rohde doesn't really want avatar in his park all that much.

I wonder if they'll introduce some SW elements like the new fireworks in "early 2016" and then extend those through June and have regular SWW May-Jun??

Honestly, right now I'd just love if they confirmed that SWW would be May-Jun-ish -- I don't need exact dates!!

I've got my hotel reservation, but I could always cancel that and get a full refund. We haven't booked flights yet, so I might hold off for a bit. We will most likely go next summer anyway though, and that's a good time of year.

I'd like to say that lost in this is the addition of the dogs to the safari ride and an extension to night operation..

That's not much compared to the grandiose plans
Being gushed over in other areas... Which are badly needed...

But it's real, tangible, and something Disney used to
And still should do for it's parks on an annual basis. Without conventions or hoopla speeches from "high ranking" officials who seem not to know much...nobody has any idea when or how much anything costs...
