D23 2015

The way the parks blog is written, it sounds like this is announcing 2 e-ticket attractions, not necessarily that these will the only ride additions in the new lands, maybe? It would be awesome to have some non-height requirement additions in the SW area too

SO excited about the announcement, though!! Finally! Bets on how long it'll take the construct all this?

I apologize if it's already posted somewhere obvious, but can someone tell me where I can watch these streams of the panels? I really want to see the Parks and Resorts one. Thanks in advance!

And super excited for Star Wars Land!!

DHS will be a completely different park when Star Wars and Pixar are complete. It will be almost unrecognizable, in a good way hopefully. That back part of the park is my least favorite anyway.

I always love reading people's different perspectives. Personally I love DHS, though it will always remain MGM in my heart. I loved the feeling of being in Old Hollywood. However, WDW cannot remain stagnant. The Star Wars announcement looks amazing.

I like the old Hollywood part too, but I think of that area as the front of the park, with the shops, the Chinese Theater, and Echo Lake. I just don't like the warehouse look, but I did/do enjoy some of the attractions there. I especially can't stand the way TSMM looks from the outside, especially if you compare it to the one at DCA. However, I don't know if they will improve the outward appearance.

I can't breath with excitement after that Star Wars announcement, 14 ACRES! Live in England so that's another reason to take another trip to the Disney parks. Hearing positive things about 'Jungle Book' too.

This just makes me really happy - this, Pandora, maybe PixarLand....I'm happy to have "reasons" to keep WDW as one of my favorite vacation spots for years to come. Will always keep us young at heart! :)

Couldn't agree more!

There are no live streams from Disney but some people have streamed things on periscope.

What year do you reckon they will have SW Land built by? My bets on 2017, maybe late 2016 if they have started construction now.

I'm thinking the chances of any time before 2020 are pretty slim with the size of this and the rate at which Disney works. Which just means that anything sooner will be a pleasant surprise for me. :)

Which SW Land? I can't believe I got to ask that:jumping2: DHS probably won't be until much later 2019-2021. I don't think they have started anything at DLR either. However, I suspect stuff will be phased in, but we probably won't see anything major in 2016.

I think you're right I may have underestimated. 2019 onward seems more likely.

I now have to go look up how TSM looks at DL.
