D-Day Invasion- "Strange"-ly Imminent!! TRIP REPORT IS UP!!

I always watch the swirlies!! When the swirlies start spinning we have a problem. :rotfl:

I just realized there was something I forgot to list on my confessions.........

That I probably should admit to now...although, I am not sure we can cancel at this late hour!! :scared1:

My confession is....

at Disney....

I wear black crocs............

With SOCKS. :scared1:

They are really thick walking socks and they keep my feet as happy as possible.

But that really probably should have been a confession....

Sorry...just thought about it.....:rolleyes1

Maroo, you gotta do what you gotta do to be comfortable. I'm sure Liesa will get over it. ;)

Bravo to your kids and being able to entertain themselves without television (or much other technology for that matter). The clown make-up is awesome! What did they use? Looks thicker than regular face paint.

Thanks for the curry recipe. I'll try it one of these days. At least I'll know how to make it now.

$80 for a piano?! Darn, I missed the memo.

B&B I did last time with my little girl- snooooooooooooooooe factor 10. Never have done LMermaid though, is it covered??

You thought B&B was a snooze fest??? Then don't even bother with LMermaid. :sad2: I love, love, love B&B; LM, however, is so boring to me. Big gaps in the story, very short and disjointed. It is inside, though, with A/C. So there is that... :confused3

They have goals of either A) spending it ALL in Germany (their tourism dept. and economists are going to love us!) or B) buy a dog when we get back to the States. I think the "fatherly powers that be" will be encouraging materialism in this case. ;)

JOrdan seems to find THE most hilarious garb! I know someday, I"m going to end up on someone's TR. Last year it was tennies with a skirt AND a butt pack. You'd DIE if you saw the pix of me on the caroussel!! :rotfl2: And NO, I"m NOT going to post them.

:rotfl2: about the materialism! I would be doing the same!

No pictures? Come on!!! ;) I've seen all of that together before it truly isn't that bad. I think Magdalene and her sister pulled off skirts with the tennies quite nicely - they were both adorable! Though, they did leave the butt packs at home....

Yes, I am all for A)!! The German economy is very much on a rebound at the moment (nobody knows why...) and this might just the stimulation it needs to take off for real! :lmao:

:rotfl:

:sad2::sad2::sad2: Liesa, you have NOTHING to worry about.

Just kidding Maroo! Do whatever you have to do to stay comfortable and blister free!!!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Mary you seriously crack me up. We really need to plan a meet. We live so close, well not that close, but close enough for a meet. My 2 yo insists on wearing socks with his sandals too, it drives me nuts. Sometimes with his faux crocs too, I think it just makes his feet feel more snug.

I am sorta caught up another LOOOOOOONG day and I am too tired to quote or be witty !! Going to bed !! Night Night All!!!!

Oooooooohhhhh, Tag Fairy.... you are needed in thread number 37711185 immediately. We have a very serious case of funny here!

That's it, I'm backing out- says the girl who gags every morning on her toothpaste.

Happy is what you need to be. If you get blisters, it will affect all of us- WE WANT MARY'S FEET TO BE VERY HAPPY!!!

::yes::

They used acrylics, not face paint. You're right, after about an hour it starts to crack and itch, but an hour was long enough to run around with it and have fun. It took them another hour to "research the internet" for various designs, and then another hour to diddle around painting it on. I'd say 3 hours is a pretty good deal for them, and it was free.

I could eat curry everyday. Green, red, or yellow!

Memo: We still have a very nice coffee table for sale. You can have it for a mere $60. ;)

$80, but you pay shipping. :faint:

Nope! They pay for shipping. They go to the bazaar where all the trucks for hire stand and negotiate a price. The truck comes here, the driver stands around while the person who bought the "stuff" load it up. In the case of last night, Mike had to help move a 1,000 pound piano. :sad2:

I think in hindsight, a lot of my ps. poor attitude was how tired I was. By the time I had gotten there with Anara, my head was about to explode, and as I recall it was the last thing we did that day. We met back up with the older kids who I had let loose to see LMA, and after that we just couldn't hack anymore. It was about 4 million degrees out and I was cooked.

I am definitely willing to give it another chance, though. On a better day, perhaps I would really love it. ;)

:rotfl2: about the materialism! I would be doing the same!

If we end up living with my father in law, there will already be a dog there. A cute little scotty named Duffy. One dog is more than enough.

No pictures? Come on!!! ;) I've seen all of that together before it truly isn't that bad. I think Magdalene and her sister pulled off skirts with the tennies quite nicely - they were both adorable! Though, they did leave the butt packs at home....

OK, just for you, I"ll degrade myself to my massive dorkish proportions. Trust me, I did NOT pull off nearly as sweetly as our German friends. They exude style wherever they go.

:sad2::sad2::sad2: Liesa, you have NOTHING to worry about.

Just kidding Maroo! Do whatever you have to do to stay comfortable and blister free!!!

And now, having seen the above fashion malfunction, I can safely tell you, it's maroo that has EVERYTHING to worry about. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I think I will be bringing socks too, to wear with my crocs- especially if this issue with my toenails ramming the fronts of them keep up.

I am sorta caught up another LOOOOOOONG day and I am too tired to quote or be witty !! Going to bed !! Night Night All!!!!

Sleep well, Rosie!!

Nice carousel pic! :)

This is just a drive by.... 1:50am here just home from work 20 minutes ago and I have a 9am appointment with another wedding 1.5 hours away tomorrow night. UGH

I read all the BaNtEr though! .... :surfweb:

You don't look bad at all! I despise skirts and crocs but that's just personal preference. I don't think anyone will be laughing at you ladies. Well, maybe teenagers but there's no accounting for their taste. :lmao:

HEY there!! You are sounding busier than me- that's tough to do these days!! so I totally know how you feel. :sad2: I'm just hoping you don't get sick with all these late nights and back to back meetings!! Stay healthy, my friend!

Anyone (teens) who wears their pants down around their ankles deserves not one thought of fashion authority. NONE! What is WITH THAT??!! :confused3

Hi Liesa. :wave2: Just wanted to say hello and was wondering if the package arrived yet?

Hey There!!!

What a crazy few days it's been!! I"ve finished my flip calendars I want to sell when I get back (fundraising, you know ;)), finished up our little postcards/contact info thingys we're giving to our friends, got our goodbye lunch cooked up for tomorrow's goodbye party at church, sold another load of carp, AND

Best of all, downloaded all the DISigns for ADR and Mousekeeping Tips I want. Hopefully, I can also get them printed off today as well, and IN my Disney bag.

I talked to my mom just last night, and she said that indeed it had just arrived on Thursday!! As well and something from Pennsylvania?? I wonder if that could be something from Jenb1023?? Yes, Jen?? I did ask her to open the one from you and she said it was Mickey heads with ribbons, so I"m positive that one must be yours!!!

I desperately wish I could get her to take a picture for me, but that's NOT going to happen. ONe of those who don't get it, and even if she did, there's no way on earth she'd be able to figure out how to get a photo sent to me. So, photos will have to wait until I actually get there and get it hung up. So think of it as a surprise . :goodvibes

Anyway, again, THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for helping to make my trip more special with a nice touch of pixie dust!! :goodvibes

Almost time for our MEET!!!

In the case of last night, Mike had to help move a 1,000 pound piano. :sad2:

I've done that too. Even worse, I had to enlist friends and neighbors to help, 'cuase we were the ones buying the piano. It's always a lot of fun asking people for a favor, especially when it's moving a piano.

Did Mike just help them at your house, or did he have to help at the destination also?

I think I would have paid someone, oh I don't know, around $80 rather than struggle with that 1000 pound piano!!! :thumbsup2

AT LAST!! A topic for the men!! :lmao::lmao::lmao: Actually, I saw a shoe talk coming- and now you've taken hold of the rudder, eh?? :rotfl2:

Oops, in my exictement, I forgot to answer the question. Actually, I am quite flustered right now after having just cleaned this festering, oozing, infected puppy wound out. I think I almost threw up.

Mike only helped at far as the van door. After that, he bid them a fair adieu and goodnight.

Yes, reading along...blah, blah, blah, oh!

Is that a wound on a puppy or on you from when the mama bit you?

Mike only helped at far as the van door. After that, he bid them a fair adieu and goodnight.

That's what I hoped!
