D-Day Invasion- "Strange"-ly Imminent!! TRIP REPORT IS UP!!

:rotfl2:That's twice in one evening you've ninja'd on me.

Jordy was on practically all day yesterday, (ask me how I know...), but haven't seen him today. Maybe my AM? :confused3

Glennbo is too busy cleaning up the arm flab mess I've made on his own PTR. :lmao:

Actually 3 - you missed one on page 21.

I haven't heard from Jordy today. Must be the Batsu catching up with him.

I've been enjoying the arm flab discussions. Unfortunately arms are the least of my issues.

Nope, they've all been quoted, sooooooooooooooooo it looks like I won the Ninja Wars tonight. :rotfl2:

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

I saw the Batsu reference earlier today.... help me out here...

Dude!!! Does that one even count???!!

OK, yes, I"ve been popcorned.

Yes, first thing tom. AM, I'll write the next chapter-

Expect, car troubles, overstaying our welcome, and a hasty departure to THE world's WORST hotel ever.

Hmmm. From that description, here are some potential chapter titles for you:

"A steppe in the wrong direction"
"Watch where you steppe"
"Ew. What did we just steppe in?"

Seriously?? The kids and I were picking up toads at the Lake this last week. They're kinda fun to play with, except when they pee on you.

Well, in all fairness and to defend myself, I had no idea what it was. I just saw something jump and I landed on my backend! Thank God it wasn't a snake...because you'd be reading my obit right about now. ;)

Oh Liesa, what an amazing event and milestone. I got very weepy reading it, I can't even imagine!

the car, oh no, the car!

:scared1:

Only you would think tarantulas are cool

ooh, I missed that, must go check!

Sorry I wasn't here in time to catch it, but glad you did GB. Actually I saw it first in KatMark's quote, and I was like "huh"?

Okay; you've got me totally :confused3. I'm lost. What are we talking about? I hope I didn't say anything bad. :scared1:

No, not at all. It was about Liesa's post where she mentioned she was reading in the bathroom. I actually read it first in your quote of it since it appeared on the previous page and I hadn't backtracked yet. Sorry for the confusion!

We are doing Medical Billing right now and it is uber tedious. The same stuff over and over again. It's good to know because a lot of officies hire Medical Assistants to do a little bit of both. I think I could handle that but I wouldn't want to do only office stuff.

Did you know maroo is a certified "coder", and does office stuff? She specifically (correct me if I'm wrong, mar) does liason work with patients/ insurance ***.

My mom was a coder/biller for my dad, who was an anesthesiologist until just a few years ago.

That is cool! I haven't gotten into the coding side yet, just a little bit. I'm glad I decided to do this program. :thumbsup2

Yep! :)

I am a "Certified Professional Coder"...which is code for: I fight with insurance companies all day! :goodvibes

I love it!

I actually went to Nurse Practitioner school for one whole semester and hated it! I hated the clinical part - missed the office part. I found the office part to be more challenging. Backwards, I know. And I am reminded constantly how backwards I am. :upsidedow

I find that the rules are ever-changing and it is like hitting a moving target all day.

It really is fun. :) And I enjoy being able to really help the patients.

They have all kinds of funds for cancer patients and the funds can help the patients pay their medical bills. I got one patient $10,000 today towards her expensive medicine she has to take! So now she can afford to take it. :thumbsup2 Strange to think that some chick behind a desk can actually affect medical treatment in that way - but it happens a lot more than we would like, honestly.

Wait for it.......

Wait for it......

:hug:Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww:hug:

What an emotional, adorable way to end an era! It's SO hard to move on. Don't go see Toy Story 3 now. You'd bawl your eyes out. That is... if you have any eyes left to bawl

What a great reward for the long journey taken. What joy to see your baby become the man that our Father created him to be. What sadness to know that things will never be quite the same. Time to let him go and release him completely into His hands now.

love you liesa.

What an emotional roller coaster!! I'm only reading about it and I'm a mess!

Only one similariy between WDW and cross-steppe trip - will there be more????

I guess, you are right. I remember a trip with my parents to Poland in 1987 in a small caravan. Our first and only trip to a communist country. I was twelve and although it was a different vacation for me as well, only after I grew older I was impressed by my parents courage. I think, after living in Central Europe post 1990 and learning a lot about life there before 1990, I got quite frightened "backward". But as a child I enjoyed this trip a lot!!!

Good morning, Katharina!!

HA! yes, there may be more similarities as I go along; I am really finding them as I go along. None of this is pre-written, as I just didn't have time (or a non-bumping writing opportunity) to get it written up before hand. ;)

Being in a country where law is not supreme, or questioned, is unnerving! There is a constant underlying fear just below the surface, which in my 9,5 year tenure here has given me wrinkles and gray hairs that just don't belong there. I hear Poland is a stunningly beautiful country with a rich history and amazing scenery. Kudos to your parents for braving the regime to see what it has to offer! :thumbsup2

DH went to Poland for duty a few years ago. He said the people were still not used to being free, and they spoke in hushed tones, always looking around and not making eye contact, as if they were afraid to really live! :sad2:

:lmao: I'm just giving you a hard time.

Link to Jordan's Batsu video

OK, THAT was funny. Looks like the idiotic stuff my son and his friends do. Inane, yet very entertaining; great in case the only thing on is Green Acres.

Sorry I wasn't here in time to catch it, but glad you did GB. Actually I saw it first in KatMark's quote, and I was like "huh"?

A "go back and read" sort of moment, eh?

Hmmm. From that description, here are some potential chapter titles for you:

"A steppe in the wrong direction"
"Watch where you steppe"
"Ew. What did we just steppe in?"

Once again, you've outdone yourself!
BRAVO!! :worship:

It landed on YOUR FANNY!?? :lmao::lmao::lmao:
