Okay, you will have to forgive me, but under the special circumstances I find myself at this time, I had to cheat to get this one. My answer was provided by Mrs. Potato Head and a farting Russian circus clown, who was jealous of the fact you are actually planning to go to Cirque de Soleil, which he wasn't even granted an audition for!

I am so jealous, but like Glenn, I am still to work this one into my budget, uh, schedule so far....

Well, today's update has been DAYS in the making!

In order to get this mission accomplished I had to call in the technical support commanders and even make a trip to the Apple store to have a "genius" look at my equipment! You see, I had TOP SECRET documents stored on my new iPhone and was unable to get them safely delivered so that I could share the TOP SECRET data with you guys!

But! Alas - the problem has been corrected (which will be useful on my trip, of course, as I plan to take MORE pictures and must have the ability to share them via Twitter and social media, of course!


But, back to the point!

This past week I received the first round of TOP SECRET documents for our journey - particularly our Commander's transportation documents!

(Now, you may notice that the documents have been altered to protect the identity of our Commander! We would not want her intercepted on her journey, of course!)

But I was not alone in my excitement of the receipt of these documents! Now we just need the documents for Soldier number 3 and we will be set!

After some calls to our Destination, including a few different departments, we are having those documents re-sent via US Mail - hopefully the US Postal Service is up for the challenge of getting those documents safe in our hands for the journey!

I have another BIG update about Baker's trip that affects THIS one!

I am continually amazed at how God is working all of the details out for their trip! And a HUGE detail was addressed over the weekend that I can't wait to share with you guys!

So...most of you guys know the backstory - which is that we are trying to send a family from our area to Disney that lost their home in a tornado and has a severely autistic child that LOVES Disney! So far we have come close to canceling the trip for lack of funds, but at the very last second someone came through that allowed us to pay off the reservation!

But there were still a few concerns - not the least of which was THIS trip and the fact that I can't be two places at once (enjoying the plans for this trip AND playing tour guide/nurse to help Baker's family) - and it is something I have been concerned about....

Well - that concern has been answered! Baker's boarding school/institution is allowing his FAVORITE nurse to accompany them! They have given her some time off (albeit without pay ) to be able to come. She has known Baker for so many years and taken care of him - he is very comfortable with her.

This is going to do many things for the trip - It will give Baker some security, since he knows her a lot better than me. He likes me, but doesn't really know me very well and I have never taken care of him in a medical sense. With autistic kids, it really takes them a while to warm up to someone. This will allow her to be able to take Baker back to the room if he is tired, wants to swim, etc and his Mom and Dad will be able to possibly spend a little time with his sister. His sister likes the BIG rides (of course, being a teenager!) and we were not exactly sure how we were going to be able to split up in the parks - but this gives us a way to do that - so that everyone has some freedom.

And this will allow me - for sure - to be able to stay on schedule (for the most part) and not miss BIG things like 'Ohana and California Grill and MK EMH and such - I won't miss a thing! And I should not be worn out before OUR trip even begins!!

So, I am really excited!

I am just trying to be confident about the financial side. God has provided this opportunity to take his nurse, so I am confident that He will also provide the additional funds for her lodging, food and tickets. Her tickets were already donated today!

I am so excited!!!!!

Hurts like all heck! It was better this morning, but I probably overdid the cleaning. I'm told it will take a good month to two for it to heal completely. I just have to not overdo it. The good news is I'm feeling 95% with the cold...the cough is almost all gone.

Did you have a good weekend? We went to dinner last night to Olive Garden (Mark thought Italian would go down easy...still a little trouble swallowing) after I did laundry all day; then we went to the Dollar Store and I picked up some goodies to ship to Juliana (Tim & Mel's daughter). I'm catching up on threads now while Mark and Andy are watching Shark Week (and Markie is up in my bed sleeping...after his games, he went to the bar with his teammates and had a couple of beers and he's wiped out).

Sounds like you had a very busy weekend! Mine was busy too, but we sold over $300 worth of stuff- I am very relieved not just for the money, but that our house is really starting to clear out. You have no idea what an answer to prayer and relief that is!!

Isn't that little Ana just cute as a button?? Too bad Tim can't bring her to DC!! I'd love to just give her a big squeeze!!!
