I have 38 hours until I'm in Florida. That means you have around 36, right?

My to-do list got shortened a bit tonight along with my hair. I have a few things left: charge the camera battery, once again encourage Joe to pack, work on the house cleaning a bit, frost a cake, get a pedi, pack diapers and jewelery.

I think that's it.

Other than take a THREE YEAR OLD to the zoo tomorrow, gorge self on pizza and cake and sleep like a baby (hopefully).

LOL I help her find her stuff and she usually moves mine to a 'safe' place. So yes I have her find my stuff because she knows where it is.

Nice thought, but it would take a serious act of God to move him out of his beloved Cascades. He has an interview in Salem the day after tomorrow- think good thoughts!

No worries - I figured you might have gotten my job mixed up with Kathy's. I did own a toy store many years ago with my sister though - a lot of fun.

He's been tired lately, but we found out today that he needs his pacemaker changed - it's working on reserve right now so the tech said that's probably why he has no energy. He will go in the hospital Sept 15th for a new one - hopefully he will feel like a new man after that. Thanks so much for asking about him.

DC was a blast!!!! It was so wonderful meeting everyone! We all became fast friends! Rosie and I did have a blast traveling together! She is so much fun. I had a feeling we would hit it off from the get-go and I was right! We talked non-stop the whole way down and back! I wish you could have been there too! Now I'm going to want to come to the West Coast DISmeet!! Rosie - are you up for a loooong road trip? We could make a detour Camille, and pick you up on the way!

By the way, I was just on Jordan's thread a minute ago - I love the photos of you and your daughter - beautiful pictures!! how is your son doing at school?

We've been missing you over here... but this thread has taken on a new life... almost like a Jordan thread. I must say that Maroo has been doing a good job keeping us informed of any trip news and she has been on swirlie watch for a few weeks now. I don't know how much time I will be on over the next few days but I wanted to wish you the best time in Disney! You deserve it after all you have been through the last few weeks, and quite frankly, the last 10 years.

I really like that picture a lot! I think it captured how at ease we all were with each other- like we had been friends already for a very long time.

YES!! She did! She and her hubby, Kent, showed up right at 7:30 and we really enjoyed their company a lot!! She is just as beautiful in person as in every picture I see of her on the boards.

I can't wait to meet her in Feb. She will be here in Texas in Feb. seeing her brother and family, so we'll get to see one another. I'm so excited!!

I bought a key ring with the plastic coil on it at DTD - flat WDW soft plastic logo on it - anyway, I attached it to the camera, and when I'm taking pics, I wear the bracelet and don't drop it. Then I have to decide what to do with it - put it away vs. keep wearing it - I'm not likely to put it down somewhere without just putting it in the pocket of my bag.
