I would wait till you get a bill, and go from there. I get a statement from the hospital whenever something is done and then later a bill for the portion insurance didn't cover, usually just a $50 copay, but it depends on what your insurance is. My son had an endoscopy and biopsy in the hospital a couple of months ago and the bill for that was $5000.00- I paid a $50 co-pay.
Hopefully it won't be an issue, but if it is, make sure you appeal in writing, not just over the phone and save everything. Fight it up to the highest level you can, you might just be surprised at how effective that can be!
