My DH, DS-4, DS-3 and I will be spending 4 nights in Orlando in April. We have the option of a 2BR at Vacation Village at Parkway or a 2BR at Cypress Pointe. We will have a rental car, so transportation to and from the parks isn't a factor. However, we will be going to both Universal and Disney so easy access to both would be nice. I have stayed in a 2BR at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas, but did not swim or pay attention to the pool at all. I think the water slide at Cypress Pointe would be a nice benefit, but have no idea whether or not it is suitable for a 3 or 4 year old. Any feedback on which resort would be a better option for us and why would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Cypress Pointe is more of a resort than VV. Both are nice, Gold Crown resorts. If it matters Cypress Pointe is closer physically and in drive time to Universal - also closer to Disney. Cypress Pointe has more on site features that are less spread out than those at VV. The two bedroom is more traditional in layout than the VV which is set up to be two, separate 1 bedroom units.

Personally I would take CP over VV but you won't be disappointed with either one.

That is exactly the type of information I was looking for. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
