Has anyone ever done this tour? If so , what sort of gift did you receive?
I would be very interested in hearing from those who received a gift and/or a reduced accommodation rate for doing the tour. If anyone has done the tour in exchange for a reduced accommodation rate, do you know if you can book accommodation over New Years Eve for the reduced rate?

Also interested how to go about booking to tour this resort?

Thank you

We took the tour when we stayed there in 2003. It was relatively painless, and we received a discount on park tickets as our gift (we probably could have chosen something else, but that was what we wanted). We got 2 adult/2 children one day admission tickets for MK, and I think we paid about $80. It was a savings of $120, I believe, so it was worth it for us.

I have not done this tour. I would say most of the times there are black-out dates for prime travel dates. Considering Christmas to New Years is the busiest time of the year at WDW-- I'd assume most hotels in the general area would black this time out for reduced rates. Let us know what you find out though.

Thanks for all the info.
Does anyone know if you choose to receive WDW reduced priced tickets for a gift, if the tickets have to be used the day you do the timeshare tour or can they be used later in the week?

Thank you
