My husband is asking this question: Does anyone cycle while at the disneyland resort?

I'm thinking he is not aware of all the walking we will do. Also I told him about the gym but he loves cycling. He told me please ask this question so here I go!

I wish I had that Disney feeling at work.

Not that I've seen ... like you said ... the gym. I just cant think of anywhere around there that I would want to cycle around.

My husband is a cyclist and would never think of doing it up there. The resort is not that big and outside the park and resort is not where you want to bike.

Agreed. Anyone who has done the DLR half marathons can tell you that the area around DLR isn't all that pleasant for this kind of stuff.

If he's willing to drive to ride the Santa Ana River has a long biking path (but don't expect a scenic ride- the river is a concrete basin) that he might consider.

If it's during the rain season, the concrete basin can be FULL of water!
With all the concrete in SoCal the man-made basins are how the channel the water out of the city.

Stick to the gym if there is any energy left for cycling after touring the parks.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply there was no water...just that its not the typical scenic river with rolling riverbanks people might picture when you say bike path by the river. :)

No problem.
People who have never seen them full of water can't imagine that there would be so much water when it rains.
When my husband saw them for the first time following a rain, he was amazed at the volume of water.

If he likes a scenic route and you have a car, you could go to the beach (Huntington is nice), rent a bike, and cycle along the path there.

Thank you guys! I think he will fall to sleep after the parks. Lol
