Cyber Specials for Spririt Airlines

I just got an e-mail from Spirit about the following Cyber Specials for Spirit Airlines - if anyone is interested. You need to book thru www.spiritair.com

Must book by 3/21/03 - for travel between 3/18 and 5/2 (excluding 4/7-4/18)

LaGuardia to/from Orlando (Mon-Thurs) = $73 each way
Detroit to/from Orlando (Mon-Thurs) = $117 each way
Chicago to/from Orlando = $103 each way
Atlantic City to/from Orlando (M-Thurs) = $112 each way

Just passing on the information.

At all cost I would stay away from Spirit. Very old aircraft and terrible service. Instead of Spirit I would try Southwest or JetBlue as a low cost alternative.

The fare from Detroit is not very going considering we are spending $305 TOTAL roundtrip for two people!

I hate flying so when I had to fly spirit I researcehd their track record and it is actually very good despite the small size of the plane. Never any serious accidents. The phone staff leaves alot to be desired but what do you want.

Ive actually researched spirit quite alot after our horible experince after our DCL cruise and found out that there parent company is Value Jet which actually is doing buisness as AirTran Airways. Value Jet was the airline that went out of bisness after there everglades crash in 1995 due to falure to upkeep there aircraft. Just thought youd like to know Actually the best fares out of Detroit would be on either Northwest or Southwest. Watch for American Airlines e-savers too!

ive been on spirit at least 5 trips (10 if u count each way) and ive never really had a prolem with them. they had to circle for 20 mins once. thats about it tho. i wouldnt recommend them really...i will tho say that they are an ok airline.
