Cvs weekly 8/23-8/29

Happy Birthday, tngramma!!!:cake: :bday: party:

What a thoughtful gift!!! That picture is too funny. :rotfl:

Right now I have the CVS cart sitting on my dining room table. I may just leave it there!

Once again, I'm up in the wee hours trying to get my CVS coupons/list together... two Saturdays in a row - now I know I am CVS crazed!:rotfl2: Got a quick question that I think I know the answer to, but I want to be sure. Fruitopia is BOGO sale this week and I have a Extra Care Coupon for BOGO - does that mean I can get both free? I also have 1.00 off RIB coupons - can I tie those in anywhere? TIA!:goodvibes And then what $ amount can I figure in towards the $25.00 I need to use a 5/25? Would it be the $ amount of one bottle which I believe is $3.25 or would it be the $ amount of two bottles or no $? Sorry this sounds confusing - it's too early!

I just did this deal. I used my BOGO CRT to get BOTH free. I also used 2 of the RIB coupons making it a $2 money maker.:cool1: Of course this is at the store the super nice cashiers and managers.

Here is the CVS post from my blog. :) The links don't copy but they are on my blog. :)

I also have a question about this deal. I tried to do it today and it didn't print out the $12. I took the ad back in with the cleansers and was told that those didn't qualify because the ad says a specific price range (lowest price item was $23 or something like that). Anyone else had that problem?

I ended up returning the products. I got the full price back even though I had used the $10 in coupons mentioned above. I felt a little guilty!! But, I mentioned it to the cashier and she told me it was okay!! I ended up making over $10 today at CVS. I'm trying hard to spend down my ECBs as I'm overwhelmed with how many I have (about $50).

Oh - and I found a great deal. Our Benefiber was 60% off. I had a CRT for $1.50 off plus a $3 coupon from today's paper. It made a huge thing of it cost me $1.50!

I also did really well at Rite Aid this week. Spent $12 and I'll get $10.50 back!! 2 Kotex, grape jelly, 3 Mentos gum, 1 Pilot pens (for dh's stocking!), 2 Rubbermaid Takealongs, 1 Colgate, 1 Tylenol. Not bad for a newbie!!

I had to share this with you guys. Below is a picture of my birthday present from DSisIL. It is about 6 inches tall and the best present I have gotten in a long time. She even made a small notebook with CVS on the front to sit in the seat and an extra care card.

That is adorable! Only 6 inches high? Is it like a barbie carriage? Your sister in law knows you well! I was psyched when my mom gave me a CVS gift certificate for my anniversary.

I had a really good day today. Here is what I got (spread over two cards)....

4 Lasting Impressions (with $3 coupons)
4 Sense and Sprays (with $4 coupons)
8 Kraft Mac n Cheese (using the buy 3 get 1 free IP)
2 Lady Speedstick 24/7 ($1.50 IP)
2 Excedrin (used $1 CRT on each and $1 q on each)
4 Composition books
4 Poise Liners (used $2 IP on each)
8 Carefree (used 4 $1 IPs and 2 $1/2 q's)
5 Reeses (used 1 .55 q and 2 B1G1 free q's)
2 Aviva meters (used $10 q)

I did 2 transactions and used 2 of the $5/$25 coupons. Paid the balance in ECB's. One transaction my OP was .02 the other were $0. I earned back more ECB than I spent though :cool1:

At Rite Aid I did this transaction twice:

Glade Sense and Spray ($4 q)
Glade Lasting Impressions ($3 q)
Phillips 5 in 1 remote
Colgate Total ($1 q)
Tylenol 8 hour ($2 q)
I also used the $5/$25 and will break even after rebates :cool1:

I used the .55 on one (so free), and then I used 2 bogo coupons so I got two more free and paid for 2. Basically I paid a $1 for 5 of them.

My DGD (6) thinks it is for her to play with. Is she ever wrong! That is my toy not hers.:thumbsup2 She has a whole room full of toys here.:confused3

Yup, you got the burnout ;) I think we all go through it from time to time! Actually, I have been doing really well at CVS the last 5-6 weeks or so and this upcoming week looks decent again with the glade deal.

Just give it a few weeks and you'll be back to normal....LOL if you can call any of us normal

We all go through "CVS burn out". Keep watch on your ECBs and don't let them expire. Just shop enough to keep rolling your bucks.

I find I get burnt out quicker when I have way too many bucks to keep up with on both cards. It comes to be a job of not letting them expire instead of a fun and profitable hobby. When I have more than $40-$50 on my cards I use some of them for things I want/need that are not producing ECBs. $30 is a very comfortable amount for me.

Just had to tell you that this weeks deals ROCK! Go figure, I wasn't expecting anything and man, its been great! :thumbsup2
The Ready-Fill coupons definitely help but its all of YOU who really make a difference!! Thanks all soo much!!! :goodvibes::grouphug:

TNGramma, happy belated b-day! And what a perfect gift for you! :thumbsup2

I haven't done anything. Can someone repost directions to reset the quiz? I need a 5/25.. I have enough Glade coupons to get a deal together with those and the comp books, if someone is so kind as to direct me how to clear the quiz?

For some reason this does not work for me. When I right click and select setting there is a box with something about real player. There is nothing else to click and no counter.

Anybody have ideas or finding any deals for this:

$3 ECB WYB (2) Select CVS/pharmacy Skin Care Products Limit 1

I'm sure there has to be something?! Anyone know what that really includes?
