I am so happy for everyone's deals at K-Mart!
I haven't gotten my act together to get over there to see if we are doing it and I still haven't packed for our trip, yelling "hello?!" at myself, "you have 48 hrs. to get everything together for 4 people for 10 days and 50 hrs. of that is in a tiny car..."
So, instead I went to CVS...
I only went to get 2 Nivea Sun-Kissed lotions for $7.99 each, use 2 $2 mfgs. (I look like a ghost, we never got summer here) and some toilet paper to get up to $25 to use yet another $5/25 and earn a few more.
I got my lotion, but then decided just to "check" the clearance section. WHOA, did I hit gold! First, they had a CVS self-tanner lotion so I put back the Nivea, then I started scanning the other stuff and it was all 90% off!
I took a picture for you, but it doesn't look like much in the picture, my savings was $230.28 and I did spend some real money ($12.05), but only because I didn't want to spend my extra bucks. I earned another $3.89 on the transaction and spent the $6.99 from the ear phones (which I needed for the car trip anyway).
I had coupons for nearly everything I saw, but not many with me because I cleaned out the car for the trip. I sent the real Lana out to the car to get the coupons I had and we managed to use one $3 Glade flameless candle coupon adjusted to $2.62 to cover the cost of 2 of those plus a scented oil candle and a $1 Action Scrubber adjusted to .54. Then I had two $1.50/2 coupons for the Carnation Instant Breakfast that was 75% off, so 2 of those four were a little better than free. I had a $2 Skin Effects coupon to use on the $2.49 Renewal Kit that was regular $24.99.
I didn't even get many Olay products and I should have - I had a ton of coupons at home and could've gotten about another $500 of that stuff for free - the Regenerist treatment kit was $2.99 and costs $29.99, and the self-tanning Total Effects face stuff is regular $20.99. I got it so cheap, I'm using it on my legs!![]()
I hope ShiPooOwner sees this and has a bunch of Olay coupons (it was the Maryland store). I barely put a dent in it.

Lanajae, how did you get the Olay Regenerist so cheap?

Enjoy your vacation.
I was at the Maryland store yesterday and didn't bother to check the clearance shelf. Was it all back in the corner on that shelf by the baby stuff? I wonder if any of it will be left on Wednesday? Are there any good CVS stores in Rochester?

I almost walked out when I saw she was working, she's not as bad as the Maplewood one who hates me though. The manager there (I call him Mr. Burns in my mind), accused me of manufacturing my own coupons, they were from the scanner at Mahtomedi. I explained to him how it works there and he walked away mid-sentence.
). Just on the Ntaure's Source we collected over 50 bottles - all of it free! And on that we limited ourselves to 4 bottles and kept our transactions at the $25.00 min. 10 coupon limit thing - just so I would not feel badly...
I decided I just couldn't pass up those 90% deals being gone by tomorrow so I got up early and headed to the Maryland store. Guess what was on the shelf in the back next to the baby blankets? Topsy Turvey tomato plant holders! A whole shelf of them! So I went up and down all the aisles thinking they must have moved the stuff because it couldn't ALL be GONE, could it?
Finally I asked the cashier and she pointed to one of those red baskets sitting on the front counter. Well, there were five items in it and nothing appealing so I left a very sad ShiPoo!
Now I'm off to Rochester and it's just a visit with family and lunch at the Hubbell House. By the way, I know which cashiers you mean at both of those stores and they are two of the witchiest ever. ESPECIALLY the one at Maplewood. She needs to take a happy pill because she's more sour than any lemon. Was it the manager at Maplewood that was rude? I thought he was usually a pretty jovial guy most of the time???
I am passing up on tons and tons of really good deals because there is some OOP and we don't need the items....but regular people without a stockpile could make a killing. I keep telling my mom to give me $10 and let me know what cleaning supplies she needs and she can't be bothered. She could be stocked for months!
