Cvs weekly 6/28-7/5

Heads up on a moneymaker for next week. Post cereals are 3/$10 with $5 ECB. If you go here:http://www.postcereals.com/trailmixcrunch/
you can print three $2 off coupons for Post Trail Mix Cereal

3/$10 - $6 coupons - $5 ECB = $1 overage!

Go fast. If the coupons are on a count limit, they'll probably go soon.

Thanks so much!! I am printing right now.

I can't get the coupons to print. I've tried Firefox and Explorer. A message came up saying my default printer wasn't supported. We have two printers and I've tried setting one or the other to the default printer, but neither are working with this coupon. Does anyone know what I need to do to get this to print?

Sometimes virus software programs won't let the software install for the coupon printers. There is usually a section where you can allow certain software or you can turn off your virus protection just while printing coupons.

BTW, I don't know if anyone else does this, but when we get ECB, one of the things we like to do is buy restaurant gift cards with them... to restaurants with good deals, of course.

For instance, we could get a $10 gift card to IHOP. We have an IHOP that will give us a free kids meal with each adult meal $4.99 or higher (Mon-Thurs evenings). They currently have a special that is exactly $4.99. We order waters for everyone, and suddenly we have a meal for our family of four that is almost completely covered by $10 in ECBs (still got tax & tip)... best part... no cooking and cleaning afterwards! Woohoo! It's a nice treat once in a while... :goodvibes

You are lucky! We can't buy gift cards with ECBs here. A warning screen comes up on the cash register that says can't pay for them with Extra Bucks or personal checks.

I went to CVS today and bought the 2 Coppertone NutraShield body Sunscreens, I found some that had a free trial size of the face sunscreen. They were $12.99 each. I used my two printable $5.00 coupons and I did get $8.00 back in ECB's.

Not a bad deal for sunscreen. "

Just be careful and look at your CRT right away - I tried this exact transaction today, and it did not automatically print the 8 ECB's for me. The cashier did manually print them out, but not after a lot of scrutinizing the ad first. I was getting the "hairy eyeball" from him. :scared1: It does look like good sunscreen, though.

I did the Nutrashield and the Coke deals this week. I had to roll a 10ECB and nothing else looked decent this week. We are going to the beach next week, so at least I know I bought products that I'll use!

Ignore what I wrote above, this just happened on one of our computers that was using a networked printer. I had to manually add a new printer and delete the one that was "auto found" (even though it was the same printer).

I was able to print two but it says 'print limit reached' when I tried to print a third one. Does anyone have one extra? I could trade for something else.

Just popping in to say hi. I don't think I will even make it into CVS this week...nothing exciting for me and no ECB's that need to be rolled. I did a few Rite Aid runs though so all wasn't lost!

Unfortunately I joined the ranks of the unemployed last Thursday (my company eliminated my position) so it has been a crazy and stressful week :scared1: DH has a pretty good job, but I carried all our benefits and made significantly more than him, so this is definitely a hit for us! I have been crazy busy reaching out to business contacts and recruiters and already have a few leads/interviews so hopefully this is a very temporary situation!!!!! Just wanted to let you guys know why I haven't been around much this week (although kind of ironic that I am on the computer less now than when I was at work, isn't it ;))

I am so sorry to read this!!! I sure hope it is temporary and I will be thinking of you - sending lots of :wizard: and :lovestruc and hoping one of your contacts has the perfect position for you!

Oh no puffkin! Here's hoping you get a job ASAP!

It seems that the milk and oreos deal (IF you have it in your ad) is working out so that you can just buy 3 gallons of milk and the ECB will print. Works great with the promotion for buy 5 gallons, get 1 free. Of course it won't turn out free but it's 3 gallons of milk for pretty cheap!

Puffkin I'm so sorry to hear about your job loss! I hope you find something better soon!

UGH my ECBs did not print for the nutrashiled, and i used 2 coupons and some ecbs to purchase them, so took them back to another store without the receipt, got my money back and did the regular coppertone deal

Hi! I am not great at the computer and posting links or pasting but you all have helped me so much with the CVS stuff that I saw an answer to someone's question about the Nutras Shield and giving the $8.00 ecb's. I am going to try to paste the post if I can. This is not my post but I just read this on Hotcoupon World I don't know if this is true or regional or what but I saw you guys discussing it and then just saw this post. I hope I did that right.

I tried the body sunscreen on my hand and I didn't have any kind of reaction so hopefully the face sunscreen will be ok too. I burn easily.

Thank you thank you!!!!! :worship: I appreciate this so much!!! PM is on the way! :goodvibes

I am in a test market with ShiPooOwner and our ad comes in the Red Plum advertising mailer on Wednesdays instead of the Sunday paper now so next week's sale started yesterday. It overlaps, so it can be a pain - but it is also easier to find everything because most people think the sale doesn't start until Sunday.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that our stores only carried the Raisins and Almonds type. Also, one deal this week that will not work on Saturday (when they turn on Sunday's deals) is the sunglasses because next week's buy one get one 50% takes over, so if you want them, do it before Saturday.

lanajae- The difference in your daughter's profile is amazing!

Am still trying to get used to my new child lol
