Cvs weekly 5/15-5/23

Only had time for 1 transaction yesterday BUT it was sooo awesome ....

Used 2 BOGO covergirl c/os,ix $2 off Aussie c/o and 5.99 ecbs
Needed fillers so got 1 bottle Xtra and 2 bottles coke still marked at 88c from last week
TYotal oop .35c AND I got $2 in ecbs !!! Now that's a deal !!!!!!

Hey guys! I posted a few weeks ago about wanting to "CVS" on a regular basis but I got busy and my ECBs all expired. So, when I got $3.50 in them from RX a few weeks ago, I decided to try again. How did I do?

Revlon eyeliner pencil (on clearance) - $2.49
Revlon eyeliner crayon (on clearance) - $1.99
Revlon colorstay foundation (on clearance) - $3.25
Revlon Colorburst lipstick - $8.99
Aussie shampoo - $2.99
Skintimate shaving cream - $2.29
Ladies speedstick - $2.99

(I bought more Revlon than needed for the $10 purchase because the clearance deals were great!)

$2 off coupon for Skintimate (making it 29 cents)
$3 off $15 coupon
$3 off coupon for Revlon Colorburst (making it $5.99)
$3.50 off with ECB

Made it $14.44 with tax, and I went home with $8 in ECB ($4 for $10 in Revlon; $2 for Shampoo; $2 for deodorant). Would have been cheaper if I hadn't picked up the extra Revlon stuff

I've been up to my eyeballs in my daughter's double graduation (got her AA degree last Tuesday and gets her high school diploma this Friday), but just wanted to say that the new All You magazine (June) came yesterday and it has those great BOGO Nivea coupons in it again.

This isn't really a CVS question, but I was trying to figure out which insert that the ALL detergent coupon was in?? I swear I saw it, went to pull it to use at Krogers and can't find it anywhere. I can't figure out where it went... anyone know which insert it was in?
It's possible it was 2 Sundays ago, too.. since we were on vacation and I just cut them all out together.

hotcouponworld.com has a coupon database where you can look up coupons and it tells you the inserts.

-1 blade razor (got the last one!)

Minus these coupons
2 $1.50/4 Chef Boyardee
1 $1 Herbal Essences
1 $1 CRT for shampoo
1 BOGO Q for Cover Girl $5.99

cost $14.98 (used ECB of course)

got back 2 for Herbal Essences, 6.99 for blade, 3 for Chef Boyardee = 11.99

total cost $2.98 Not too bad. I have over 60 extra bucks on one card so I needed to spend a few, LOL.

Wow. Congrats to your dd!! Can I ask - when did she start her AA degree? My oldest (14) is starting CC next week. We homeschool and I'm thinking he may finish his AA before he is 18. What is your dd. doing next year?

I haven't posted in a while. I needed a break from CVS/Rite Aid shopping. But, I'm back!! I don't have my receipt, but I got over $40 worth of stuff this week for $0.15 OOP. I paid $9 in ECBs and got back $18!! So, I was pretty happy!

I did it for the lipstick that was BOGO last week and it beeped. The guy said to me "this is for a face product" and I said "Umm, well, I use lipstick on my face don't I?" (Yup, after several rejections and waiting forever in line I was rude ) He pushed it thru.

OMG!!! So funny. I told my sister I was afraid to use the BOGO face coupon and she said "Well you use the lipstick on your face not on your butt right?" I was laughing so hard I just prayed that it didn't beep so I wouldn't blurt that out by mistake!

And I did use the coupon and it didn't beep. I also got a CRT for $3 off a $15 haircare purchase and I only ended up buying two of the Aussie's (2.99*2) in my transaction (which was much higher than $15) but it went through without a beep!

Today I had a fairly big order. When I checked out I handed over all of my ECBs because I knew I would need them all. When the clerk totaled me up, it came out to -$7.xx. I knew I shouldn't be that negative, so I looked at the screen and saw a $15 ECB was deducted. I said wow, I didn't know I had such a large ECB in the stack and when the clerk looked at my pile of ECBs he saw that what rung up at $15 really only had $5 printed on it. He voided it and scanned it again and it still came up as $15. Then he voided it one last time and manually entered it as $5. I have no idea what it was for beacause I gave him a bunch at once. Usually I never do that. I always hand them one at a time to see how many I'll need to use. Now I'm thinking if I would have done that I would have gotten a $10 ECB freebie. Oh well! Anyway, the moral is watch your $5 ECBS as they scan. Maybe you have one like this, too. I just wish I knew which deal it came from.

Did you do the Bayer Meter deal? If yes, it may be that your $5 ECB actually was supposed to be $15 ECB. I read on iheartcvs they had problems with that one printing incorrectly but they corrected it so the register would deduct the right amount even tho the ECB only said $5.

It's YMMV on that. Usually no because the barcode is blacked out. If there is no blacked out bar code and there is no clearance marking on the package and it rings up as revlon, sometimes.

Someone on afc said no they didn't get it and the store would not force it because it was on clearance. It's up to you if you want to take one for the team so to speak just to see if it works.

In the past when stayfree or deodorant was clearanced I did get the ecbs but they were just ringing up on clearance, there was no markdown tags or any blackout on the packaging.

I bought a bunch of the clearance revlon lipsticks and eyeliners. I had some Revlon CRT's and a bunch of MFQ's. None of them counted towards the Revlon ECB deal. They all scanned at the clearance price so the cashiers didn't have to do any manual adjustments and the coupons went right through. I paid about 50 cents and got 8 lipsticks and 2 eyeliners.

Oh my gosh, I bet that's it! I wish I would have known that before I handed it over. When I did the meter deal $5 printed out and then they manually gave me a $10.
