For the first time in forever, I got 5 off 40 on mine and my husband's card, but I'm having a very hard time getting up to a $40 transaction that won't cost me much out of pocket. I really wish I had gotten the $5 Lysol soap CRT to throw in there.

I'm thinking

Irish Spring $3 - $0.50
Revlon $15ish (I have a 5 off 2 CRT and a $3 off CRT) - $6 (3x$2)
2 Colgate Clinical $8 - $2
Schick Quattro $9 - $4
2 Oral-B $6 - B1G1
- 12 ECB
Comes out pretty much even, but if something is out of stock, I may have some oop. I'm not really interested in Avatar - the blue creatures freak out my kids a little bit (me too, if I'm honest) Any other deals I'm overlooking?
I already got the sunscreen on one of the cards, otherwise I would throw that in there. I had to prepare some bags to give away to my mom, MIL, babysitter, aunt this weekend. My room looked like a CVS threw up all over the place but I really really really don't want to pass up on a 5 off 40.

Yesterday, the cashier had to call over the manager to approve my IP that I printed from my black and white printer. He approved, but she told me that they had told them not to accept the B&W ones because they could be copies - ummm, have they ever heard of color copiers? I just told her how to check the serial numbers to at least get an idea if they were copied. I hope there aren't people in my area who are going to ruin it for the rest of us.

I'd say do the Facebook Newtons/Wheat Thins deal - that'd be $4 with $0 OOP after the coupons. It's super easy to sign up for facebook if you don't already have an account and you don't have to do anything beyond search for Fig Newtons and Wheat thins and click like to get the coupons.

There's also the Palmolive for .88 cents with the $1 off coupon on two. 76 cents OOP.

If they are out of stock on anything and if you have the All $2 coupon that would only add $1.50 in OOP but $3 in cost. Or you could use the coupon and do the All $9.99 deal with $2 ECB back. Quite a bit of OOP on this one though.

I regularly shop at 7 CVS and there are at least 3 more in the area (we have tons) and NONE had scanners. I was so jealous. Well, the first time I saw a scanner at my store I screamed. Yes, screamed I called my DH right away and he didn't understand my excitement either. All my stores got a scanner within a few weeks of each other, but that was only around the beginning of the year. I am loving it now

It looks like the limit has been raised for the SoftSoap/Irish Spring body wash on sale this week for $2.99 with 2 ECB's back on. I bought two this morning and used $1 off Q's making them both free (except for tax) and my CRT doesn't say limit reached. Got $4 ECB'S back. The RIB magazine with Penelope Cruz on the cover has two $1 Q's in it for SoftSoap and Irish Spring body wash.

LanaJae, have you found the small 2 oz. size of CVS sunscreen producing ECB's at any of the stores in our area? I couldn't find them at Mahtomedi this morning when I went to Aldi for hanging baskets.

There must be a big Corporate push for the scanner now. One of the stores has a sign on the door reminding you to visit the scanner, along with paper footprints on the floor to show you where it is (like I needed those). Another store had the scanner hidden in the back by the pharmacy and it never, ever had paper. Last week, it was moved to the front of the store AND it has paper.

One of the stores near my MIL has 2 scanners! One in the front and one in the back of the store.

I wish I would get one of those rx coupons...someone doesnt have to get sick... you can always ask the dentist for a toothpaste rx...

I havent been able to find the RIB magazine in a long time.. Most cashiers have no idea what I am talking about

I went to get allergy medication for my son last night and thought I'd look, too. The aisle sunscreen area only had 1 but on my way back to the register I walked through seasonal and they had a ton more there. I was able to get them last night, which excited me since we're going to the beach soon.
Maybe your stores have sunscreen in more than one area too? Just a thought.

Thanks again for this thread! I've been lurking a bit. Went to CVS Monday and used my $5/$40 to get a Shick Quattro Razor, 2 CVS Sunscreen Sprays (the 66% more ones!) , 2 Nivea Body Washes and a trial size Eucerin and a sippy cup with a frog's head on it for my son. He loved it.

I messed up a bit, as I was trying to decide between getting the Quatro Razor and the Intuition refills (had the $4 coupon for both and I currently use the Intuition) but I had a friend with me who mentioned she needed Intuition refills. So she grabbed those and I grabbed the Quattro and when I got to the register I wasn't thinking and handed the cashier all my coupons... I had:
2 $2 Nivea Body Washes
1 $4 Shick Quattro Razor/Refill
1 $4 Intuition Razor/Refill
1 $5/$40 CVS purchase

It took both the $4 coupons off even though I didn't buy the Intuition refill. I was pretty confused and the cashier just said "It wouldn't have taken it if it wasn't right, must be because they were both Gillette"
So since she wasn't concerned I just paid, my friend told her she'd pass on the Intuition cartridges and we left.
I don't remember how many ECBs I had but I paid $13.22 OOP and got back $14 ECB ($4 for the Shick, $5 for the Eucerin and $5 for the sunscreen)
I was pretty happy because it's all stuff we'll use, especially the sunscreen.

Oh, and thanks for the tip about the $3 Pampers coupon in Parents. I subscribe but rarely read it the month it comes out so I dug it out of the pile of mail and clipped the coupon to use before it expires.
