Cvs weekly 02/21-02/27

Hey, if anyone uses wipes - VERY good deal:

The Huggies wipes bags 184-216 count are ringing up at 2/$5, the sale price of the boxes. I ran over to one after work with my sister's 5 off 15, 2 coupons, and bought 14 bags (didn't clear the shelf). I have 3 kids, she has 3 kids (3, 1, and 1 week:scared1: This is probably my deal of the year, so far. She's going to try to hit up some other ones tommorrow. Regular price is $7.99, and I love these wipes.

Swipe your card, because some people are getting Huggies wipes $2 CRT today, not me though. HTH!

Wow! I've got to try to hit that one today. I thought this would be an off week for me.

This is abput Walgreens.
I just recently started doing the Walgreens RR program. There are alot of rules with their program and it has taken me a long time to understand it. Last night I payed with 3 RR and the cashier wrote down things on my RR and put them off to the side. I think he wrote the date and transaction number. It made me feel uneasy. Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks,
PammPoppins

Awesome!!!

I might have to go get some. I have a ton of Huggies Wipes coupons..

My local Kroger messed up in May of 09. They sold the refill boxes (360ct) for $2.50... plus, it was the week they were doing the $3/$15 Huggies Purchase. So I got 6 boxes of wipes for $12 each transaction.

I still have about 12 cases, purchased close to 20 total. :rolleyes1
Can always use more, though!!!

I checked my coupon stash and can't find one coupon for Huggies wipes. Do any of you know if there's any online that I can print or from any other source readily available? I couldn't find any on the Huggies website or coupons.com either. :confused3

I hear ya! I've pretty much given up on Walgreens. There were just too many if's, and's or but's every time I tried to make a purchase using coupons and RR's. It seemed like there was always a catch and I always walked out frustrated with their rules and system. :headache:

I've never had a cashier write anything down on my RR's or put them to the side, but it would definitely make me feel uneasy about the whole thing if that happened to me. Maybe he was just trying to remember what his wife told him to bring home from work? ;)

although there were no good ECB deals at my store as many things were sold out.

I had a 5/15 burning a hole in my pocket. It expired yesterday but they took it without a problem.

I got 4 boxes of Cheerios/Special K $2 each -$1 coupons for 2 of them
bag maxi pads $4.49 - $1 coupon
L'oreal shampoo $3 -$1 coupon

5/15 coupon and $2ECBs

So after everything I got 4 boxes of cereal, shampoo and pads for $4.85 :)

I haven't "done" Walgreens for several months now, but that happened at one store and then I asked someone I liked at another store about it and she told me it meant that they had a theft problem at that store.

The RR program is an employee theft temptation thing. First they want to keep them instead of giving them to you and then they sometimes take them out of the drawer because technically they can be scanned over and over and still work.

I only had 4 and they were all mailed to me.

I have a TON of expired ones though. :headache::headache:

I hit 3 CVS today for the wipes (2 for me, 1 for my friend who is also pregnant)... at one of them the coupon printer thing gave me a $4/Box of Huggies Diapers.

Next week I saw that Huggies Boxed Diapers are $19.99 w/ $4 ECB back. I've got a $4/$20 CVS Purchase coupon, plus Huggies coupons, too.

Can I use the CVS coupon for $4/$20, the $4 CVS coupon off the diapers AND a Huggies manufacturers coupon? :confused3

Went wipe shopping today...
First CVS I got 10 bags for myself... got a $5/$15 on the coupon printer and used 4 .50c Huggies Coupons.. $19.20, used a gift card I got for transferring Rx.
Second CVS I got 6 bags, got a $5/$15 on my other card so used that and $10 ECB, no OOP cost to me.
Third CVS was the 6 for my friend and 2 for me- for mine I used $5 ECB, .30c OOP (forgot to use the gift card.) Just paid cash for hers, separately.

Thanks for posting about this!!! I shouldn't need to buy wipes for a long, long, long time... and I didn't even buy out any of the CVS I was at! There are still 2 more within 10 min. drive of my house and I'm tempted to go back out tomorrow and hit those.

Is it possible that I'll get more $5/$15 tomorrow? :confused3

Thanks, Lana Jae,
You always answer my questions and are always so kind. Thank-You, it bothered me why they did that.

Yes, you should be able to use all three! Sounds like it will be a great diaper deal for you :goodvibes

Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for the post about the wipes. I'm ashamed/thrilled to say I picked up 11 packs today! The first store I went to only had three left, next store had 0, but then at my third stop I struck gold. I felt guilty empyting the stock, so I took 8 packs there. I just might have to stop back later this week, though, to see what's left. :thumbsup2

I've stopped by CVS a few times this week hoping to pick up some coffee and Irish Spring soap for my husband. When I asked about rain checks today, the clerk told me that she could give them to me but there was no guarantee they would get the items in stock anytime soon. She told me that the roof collapsed at their distribution in PA and they aren't getting the shipments in like they usually do.

Ugh! Price check the wipes - they were ringing up at full price:headache:

I hope everyone got what they needed!

Yes, the manager at our store told me about their roof collapse and no products or few products being available as a result. Get the rainchecks anyway because they NEVER expire. You will eventually be able to use them.

Roof collapse? Snow?

Oh yeah, it's been happening a lot around here. Big flat roofs and all the heavy snow we've had is a recipe for trouble. We're expecting another 10 - 12 inches tonight and tomorrow.

This is just awful, we have a lot of snow in Minnesota, but it has been steady to build up, not all at once like you've been getting. I'm so sorry all of you are dealing with that mess!

Thanks for the tip! I'll stop back up there today and get the rainchecks. My husband has been working in York, PA for over a month and couldn't believe the snow that they got. to anyone who has been dealing with all that snow. I thought Cleveland was bad!:sad2:

Its pretty bad when they start naming the storms by number. Usually we get the "strorm of 94" or "blizzard of 2003". This year they are calling them #1, #2, #3 etc. The kids will be in school until July :scared1:
