Went to Walgreens today to use my $5 Schick coupon on a razor...my PLAN was to use one, get the $5 RR, then use that RR and other $5 coupon (I had 2 coupons) plus my cheap fillers.....and then get ANOTHER $5 RR w/that second razor purchase. Was peeved to discover I didn't get a RR w/the second razor purchase. The cashier said you don't get RR's when you purchase an item w/RRs........is that true!?!? I rarely shop Walgreens...

Yes, this is true. You can alternate RR from different companies/brands, but cannot use one RR from the same company to earn another RR even if it's a second transaction.

Should have done my homework....I woudn't have wasted my other $5 RR on fillers.

So, I could have used a RR on a different transaction (say for toliet paper if they had RR) and got the RR that way?? Just not the same brand/item...

i found out once you can not do that the hard way, like in line with a bunch of stuff trying to roll them and ended up with a bunch of packs of gum free since i got so annoyed.

i need some shower gel so i will grab the softsoap deal and one of the candy deals if my store isn't wiped clean. also have the email deal to use now. thanks!

i too got out of cvsing. i got frustrated b/c they never have anything i want and i have been getting good deals at target. i will give it another try.

I went to Rite Aid today too! The school supplies, including lunch bags and backpacks are 75% off...I picked up a few lunch bags for emergency gifts. They came up about $2.

NYC cosmetics are already 40% off...in this month's All You magazine there's a BOGO coupon. I used it on two eyeshadow palettes normally 4.99 each...paid 2.95 for the both of them.

Revlons had a $5 coupon two Sundays ago...I used it to buy 2 foundations regularly 13.99 each. Plus if you spend $10 on Revlon, you get a $4 upreward. So I used two coupons @ $5/each==20.98--$10=10.98 plus $4 back.

I think I will try rite aid. Sounds like they mY have some good clearance.
