Well I had a first today at Walgreens. I went to Walgreen today to do my usual Sunday shopping. I had all the great RR deals in my basket. The cashier refused to sell me the razors or the probiotics. She told me that she knew I was the one that buys the W razors and sells them at yardsales and the store is tired of me coming in and cleaning them out of razors. I had 1 in my cart. I have never emptied a shelf in my life (unless I buy the last 1) and I have never sold any of my items at a yard sale (with 3 leg-shaving females at home it wouldn't be worth it). Then she held up the probiotics and asked me who, in my family,was going to actually use them because she thought that I was only buying them for the RRs. I asked her if she questions all her customers and informed her that what I do with the items is my own business. She then said "i don't think you are going to use them" and puts the item behind her, as in her restock pile. I asked for the manager. when the manager got there she told me their new policy is the cashier can decide to refuse to sell a product to a customer if the cashier believes the customer is abusing the RR promotions.

Wow! I can't believe that Walgreen's policy. Seems absurd to me. What business is it of their's what you do with stuff? I know at CVS sometimes they will joke with me about how much toothpaste I must have and I just say that I donate my surplus items to a food pantry that is very glad to get them. They are always happy to hear that.

I also buy stuff that I plan to give to others in my family. For example, the Blink eye drops are free after rebate at Rite Aid this week. Those will go to my mother who has dry eye syndrome.

I think the Walgreen's policy is way out of line. I could see if you were going into the store twice a day all week long to get the same stuff. But your regular shopping is different. Getting one of the item is not abuse.

I didn't get to town today because of some car issues so I am hoping that Walgreen's still has the free stuff when I am in the southern part of the state later this week.

You should call corporate ASAP!!! That is unacceptable!! I mean, I think they have a right to limit people buying RR (for example, if someone is doing back to back to back, etc.) but to ask who is going to use a product!!! That is outrageous!! Please call and don't let them get away with that!
