CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 6/24-6/30

You have to have a coupon from the Sunday insert. The ad states they can do it from a picture CD (like KodaK). Can someone find out if they'll do it from a "home" burned CD?

It doesnt say anything about a coupon from sunday paper it says free with card.

Can anyone report on successfully buying more than 1 Colgate Maxfresh toothpastes at this week's $2.77 price and getting the correct number of $2.77 ECBs?

I know it's limit 5 this week, but with our kids home before camp starts, hate to go in with them and have any hassle -- one time the manager made me wait while she called corporate because I was shorted a $1 ECBs, waited and waited (!) and low and behold, she came back and said I was right. This week I just want to go in, shop, and have the ECBs print out as they are advertised.:cloud9: :wizard:
Just bumping this and also to say that the DVD promo. in my circular says it's free (no coupon needed).:wizard:

i went today, bought 2 of them...only one ecb printed and it said limit 1 reached on my sales slip... (so the ad stating 5 may be a typo on cvs's part or not logged right in the system)

The cashier gave me a hassle cause he didn't know what to do and i whipped out my phone and called corporate (gotta love cell phones). Corporate told him to give me my money but he then called the manager and whined about drawer going to be short or something and then gave me a gift card...

Hey not my problem..It's their ad...

Wait...hmmm..yes it does say free with card. It also says check sunday insert for coupon...my coupon states:

"free trial offer (exp july 7) save 12.99 and get a free memory play DVD at CVS rite aid and duane reade." but there is no barcode. Hmmm. Under terms and conditions (on Q) it says coupon required, max value 12.99, attach to processing envelope.

I'm confused.

Hello, I bought 3 and one rang up at $2.99 instead of $2.77 but that is the only ECB that printed out and it printed out for $2.99. For the other 2 that I bought at $2.77, the manager gave me cash back for them. I love it!!!

Thats exactly what the other board was reporting but I am reading theonline ad not the printed one and i cant see the fine print, but i dont recall any coupons in the paper, i clip everything!!! I guess i will have to go in and ask and see what happens, the only reason i want to try it is its free...lol. i can do the same thing at home but im lazy!!..lol

I did get the coupon in the paper- there was one in one of the pharmacy ads too- Rite-Aid I think. I am curious what it does- most people can already see their pictures on their TV either directly thru the camera linked to the TV or thru the computer linked to the TV, so what is special about this?

I thought it said it would be a slideshow with transitions, motion, and music. Not sure how they do that or how you pick the music. I cut the coupons out and wanted to try it, but I'd love to hear someone's experience here first! I was just going to dump a bunch of pictures from my last Disney trip onto my memory card or a CD and take it up there to try it! We'll see!

Hey, why not- it's free right? I am curious. Maybe I'll give it a whirl too.

So for those of you that use coupons to get trial sizes for free..specifically target(;) dodukes) do you find that they typically allow overage? Do most cashiers seem knowledgeble on how to adjust the price of the coupon?

I'm planning a HUGE family/friends cruise for next year (5 cabins!) and I thought I'd put together some little toiletry bags with samples/travel/trial size items. I have alot from the DISBOARD freebie threads but if I can also pick it up free with coupon, why not?

Honestly I dont remember but I dont think a single coupon beeped. They guy was really kool about it to oso that may have helped, i onoy had a few that covered the entire amount, edge, skintimate and something else. the rest made the travel stuff really cheap $.50 or less. I had shout, bandaids, degree, suave deodorant, gold bond, and now im going to try motrin. But to kinda answer your question, i have never had an issue with beeping coupons at target.

I knwo a while back they had the free choco bars up to $2 and i had gotten a bunch of those, well a few ended up rining at lik 1.45 or something less and the coupon scanned for the enitre $2 so no i dont think you'll have an issue with overage.

I am not sure if ill get to cvs today. I went to go get my oil changed after work and frankly im tired..LOL, but im thinking it might be best to throw the pics on a media card than give them my burnt cd huh?

Ok well i decided after all to go to cvs. Of course with my luck, the machine they use for the dvd was missing a piece so they couldnt do it, so i will try every cvs in my area cuz now i am determined to get this thing..LOL

Also i went and got 5 bags of Chex mix at 5.00 then had 5 $.50 off coupons so i got 5 bags for $2.50. I dint wait to use it for filler cuz i am not doing any other large trips this week.

Wanted to also update my receipt totals: YTD savings: 1296.21 (i have only been doing this since april) and Summer spending: 17.99

Has everyone signed up for these deals? I'm pretty sure I signed up for the cereal thru the freebie board but never did the free shake offer. (these are snail-mail Qs). Freebie Qs make the best fillers!

One was from www.tryglucernacereal.com ...enter Promotional Code "HOUSE". (that was a $5 coupon) and the ($11 coupon came from) www.tryglucernashakes.com enter "FOCUS2"

Just back from CVS.

The Colgate FreshBurst ECB's are printing. I bought 4 to reach the offer limit and got back an ECB for $11.96 (the ECB's are printing at 2.99 for each toothpaste:thumbsup2)

I found Tylenol Cold Multisympton Daytime in the regular aisle. The sign said 50% off of 6.50. I thought 3.25 was a good buy. They rang up at 1.62 so I bought all 8 they had. That seems to be the medicine we use in the winter time.

Also found Huggies Bath and Body Wash in the diaper aisle. Sign said price was 50% off of $4 but they rang up at a buck each so I bought all they had. Even the bigger sizes rang up at a $1. I used my coupons up for this stuff last week or I would have gotten an even better deal.

The clerk said a lot of the clearance stuff that says 50% went to 75% off today.

Other things I purchased.

Lay's Potato Chips BOGO Free
Shout Laundry Spray 2/$5. Bigger bottles were ringing up at the sale price so I bought 2 of the bigger bottles.
Chinet Plates BOGO Free-also used 2 .50 off coupons
Post It Notes Peal and Stick Photo Paper 1.25 Had a coupon for $1 off so .25
Crest Spin Brush on sale for $4.99 (7.99 at Walgreens) also used a $2 off coupon from my Dentist.

I used the new $10 off $50 coupon plus manf. coupons and ECB's to bring my $100 total down to $44 and then I got $11.96 ECB's to use next time. A little more than I wanted to spend but a lot of it was clearance stuff that I didn't want to pass up.

The Pharmacist said they are giving $25 gift cards for transferring a prescription but I don't have any to transfer right now.

Did anyone get any of the new coupons that were e-mailed??? There are several new coupons that expire 7-8, 4/20, 10/50, 15/75, 5/30.

Thank you for the good news about the Colgates -- Haven't done any yet this week, so, assuming they're in stock, I'll get 5. Was surprised to see in the ad that it's for 4 oz size, which seems extremely expensive for that size, but will be free after ECBs. No man.coupons, but I'll ad some fillers to use the $4/$20 coupon.

Received an e-mail for a new $4/$20 coupon, expires July 8th, plus included 3 other "click for coupons":
$2 off Aveeno and Neutrogena sun care products
Buy 1/Get 1 Free, Enviga Beverage
Buy $40, Get $10 ECBs weight loss -- just an ad for the promo

Hey all. Quick question for you knowledgable CVSers.....on Sunday, I bought 4 Colgates, but since no ECBs printed I returned them (right then). Since now the ECB problem, seems to be fixed, will I be able to buy only 1 TP and get the ECB (since I technically bought 4 already), or will I be able to get all 5? TIA

Last time this happened with the Colgate ECB's it was only limit 1. I bought my 1 then returned it when no ECB printed. Since I returned it, I never called for the ECB. It printed next time I went anyway, so you may still get all 5 ECB even if you only buy 1.
