CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 6/17-6/23

anewvance - Great job!! Those are some good deals and I bet your sister was impressed!!

What are cup holder wipes??? I've never heard of those but my cupholder could use a good cleaning.

Maggie

What are the Hershey's Sweet and Salty bars like?? I've never heard of them??

Maggie

I bought two boxes of those myself..after 0.75 off Q, not terribly priced. I had the reeses peanut one last night...yummy. Like a payday but not as difficult to eat.

You know I'm really irritated. That guy told me Thursday that the lip stuff wasn't included in the mark down (and therefore didn't belong with the clearance) and I saw some pics of some "gift basket" ideas using the Burts Bees on HCW and the same lip stuff (flat green tins) are in their baskets! Not to mention bath salts and foot scrub (neither of which I've even seen).

LOL..thats not exactly what they are. A mom invented them and I saw her talk about them on tv. They look kind of a like a disposable coffee cup but the top dispenses wipes in a pop top fashion. The convenience is that they fit in your cup holder unlike more conventional wipes that have to be stowed under the seat. Great for sticky kids!

Ahh! I guess its been too long since I have had babies. They have invented all sorts of new things since my girls were little - and my youngest is only 12!! I thought the world has gone a little overboard making special wipes for cupholders, but I thought, "Hey, if they work and I can get them for free at CVS, my cupholder could do with a wash!!!" :rotfl:

Maggie

I would have said when I was walking out, it is funny isn't it that I was right and you were wrong, or it is funny how I got my way any ways:rotfl2:

ETA:nevermind

Dont get me wrong I REALLY wanted to tell her something and because of her attitude I woul dhave stood there and called CS but since the manager did it anyway , even after giving me grief, i let it go. I am stil considering writing an email or letter to CS just to make sure they get their policy straight. And I know thats not what you meant but its relaly ot about getting my way, its about doing things right. I am not doing anything sneaky or against corporate policy, policy stated that you acn use 1 cvs and 1 manuf. coupon per item and ecb's are to be treated like cash and pushed thru. I am not sure why its that hard to understand for some people. Sorry I guess i'm still slightly annyed...LOL

Sorry I thought it was nutter butter like but it was reeses, LOL, i got one of those and the regular hersheys, and like you only did it cuz i had free money and coupons. They do look yummy tho!!

Something interesting happened to me today. I was at the CVS one town over (but on the same road as my local one) and I ran across the burts bees. Found the lip balm, bath salts, and foot lotion but they were marked 75% off. I picked up several anyway, thinking I would get some to complete my future baskets. (there were only 2 salts and 2 foot lotions left anyhow). When I got up to the register I had a conversation that went something like this:

"These are 75% off."

"Yes, ma'am, 62 cents."

"You know down the road they're 90% off."

"Well, OK, I'll give them to you 90% off but they're not supposed to go to 90. We put a stop to that about a month ago."

Well..I wasn't asking to get them 90% off but YAY..OK! But I don't understand the rest of what she said. She made it sound like 90% off was no longer a permissable price point. I wished I had grabbed more!

So here's an idea: if you come across a store that has them 75% off but go to another "local" store that has them only 50% off..politely ask them to match the price! You may say, why bother if I can go to store A and get 75% off? Because they may not have all the "varieties" left!

Were the BB's in the regualar spot or on a clearance area? And, were they marked on sale? My store doesn't have them marked. I guess I should ask.

For some reason I can't edit my last post...oh well. Anyway, can anyone tell me where the link is for the $10/$50 coupons. I found it a while back but I can't find it now!!!!

I just wanted to post quick (will post trips later) that the Right Guard RGX although does not state limit reached on my receipt does NOT generate an ECB in Central MA. I will call customer service to confirm for this area or not and if not it will be returned but didn't want people running out to purchase if not working. Check in later! :thumbsup2

Now…..this is the store that has one of the cashiers that I do NOT like. Turns out he is a Supervisor!! Since the girl had to enter the clearance makeup as “taxable item”, the coupons did not scan, so she called him over. He said I could only use 1 CG coupon per transaction. I argued with him that it was 1 per item, not per transaction. He would not give in, but said he would do it by ringing them separately. I said fine. I thought he was also going to tell me I couldn’t use my $4/20 since the one transaction would now not be $20, but he didn’t.

Kimya....your BC store has them up front... IF you look to the left as your walking towards the doors to leave there's a low shelf just inside the door they were sitting on a couple weeks ago...

Went there this evening and didn't see a one! Asked about them and got another look from them like I had 3 heads.

Kimya

PS....Can someone take a picture of the heartbeat book and post it so I can see what I'm looking for?? Please!

Last deal of the week!

14.95 - 5 St. Ives Lotions
9.96 - 4 Sally Hansen Polishes (will go away for DD stocking stuffer!)
2.90 - 2 Sudacare Childrens Vapor Plug Refills 5ct *Clearanced*
4.99 - RGX deodorant - (will be returning see below!)
-4/20
-2.50 B1G1 SH 50% off deal
-2.00 SH mfg
-5 crt St Ives (computer did not beep at the $14.95 maybe because of tax?)
-5 mfg for St. Ives (thanks again for Q's!)
-12.77 in ECB's

Paid OOP 1.61 so technically I spent $4.38 more than I got back in ECB's ($10) but I will be returning the RGX for the $4.99 so it really was a profit trip! I purchased the RGX to see if the limit was higher for MA. Even though my receipt does not state limit reached, I did NOT get the ECB. Not a big deal but had I gotten the ECB, I would have gotten the limit!
