CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 6/17-6/23

Sally, are our hubbies twins???? That is the only deoderant my DH likes too!!! FOr whatever reason...I don't know. :confused3 I buy him all these other great kinds of deodorants and he just rejects them. I call him my "Grampa". LOL!!!!!!!

And about scrapbooking....i AM ADDICTED!!!!!!! Actually a few friends and myself are having a scrapathon tomorrow night. We are all bringing some food and drinks and we are going to scrap the night away!! LOL I wish you lived closer. Hmmm, I wonder how far away you are! ????:rolleyes1

Not only is that his "preferred" brand but it also has to be original scent and NOT the soft kind (with the little holes in it like a cream).

Tonight I did the St. Ives/Sally Hansen deal

Can you use body wash as hand soap???

I am on my last bottle of liquid hand soap (Bath and Body Works antibacterial stuff). But I have a metric ton of body wash. Instead of going out to buy more hand soap, can I just refill my bottle with body wash???

Maggie

I'm not sure if I asked this question on this thread before or on the other one.

Does anyone know if Powerbar Protein Plus bars are part of the nutrition deal? Is it just the slimfast products?

Thanks. If they are included, I want to go and stock up today.

:thumbsup2

I would think so. Soap is soap in my mind and I have read of people using the Softsoap Cashmere stuff in their liquid hand soap dispensers so I don't see why not :confused3

Funny thing, last night I was doing the St. Ives deal and I got 6 of the body wash, The cashier said -"do you like this stuff or are you buying it because of coupons?" I told her I buy things like this because I use it to make baskets up for presents, I also had 4 nail polish for that deal too - stocking stuffers for DD. We talked for a couple minutes (it was 10:30PM and store was slow at that time) and she was amazed that it all cost me OOP 1.37 but after the ECB's I got back I made money. She told me she was going to come to my house for lessons! :lmao:

Yes they are! I purchased 10 last week with the B1G1 coupons and they all counted towards it.

So the st. ives body wash also counts towards the deal? How much where the body washes, does anyone remember? I am trying to plan another trip for this afternoon and was thinking of doing htis deal for gifts...

The body washes were $2.99, same as scrubs, and lotion! :woohoo:

I only had the coupons for the body wash and the lotion. So that is what I got. I would have been nice to get some face scrub too. I bought 6 items, 3 body wash and 3 matching lotions. I would have liked to the 2 sets of the scrub, lotion, body wash. That would have made a nice gift basket!

Maggie

Thank You! I am *trying* to scrap. Well lets say I keep buying all the stuff and printing pictures but I haven't had the time yet to do much! I have part of our WDW trip in 05 done & part of my sons school book done - that is 2 years of scrapping I haven't done!!! Just too busy with 3 kids (39 :rotfl2: , 5, & 6), 2 jobs, the house and everything else, not to mention CVS :lmao: One of these days I'll get around to it. I liked to do it at night after the kids are in bed - very relaxing and I love looking over the pictures!

I am an avid scrapbooker! Love it love it love it! It is more a fall/winter activity for me but it allows me to appreciate how great life really is and take better photo's - Love the photo you posted of your kids! :cutie:

Are there coupons out there for the Cadbury??? I checked them out last night during my CVS trip and I discovered they had Caramello ones!! YUMMM!! I have to get some of those!! I did a search on Taylortown, but nothing came up. However, I thought I read somewhere that there were coupons?

Maggie

I have to admit that I had the Cadbury Carmello bar yesterday for dinner:rotfl: I had never tasted it before and it was so good! I stopped into CVS after work and they were out of alot of stuff - no Kashi, no ice cream, one box of South Beach bars that I got.:sad2: It's almost like you have to make sure you go in early if not you lose out.

Hmmm..it sounds like a lot of us DIS CVS'ers are scrapbookers! Soon we'll need our own forum!:rotfl2: I'm a scrapbooking junkie, too!!

I think I'm going back to CVS today for some more BOGO Twizzlers 9DH ate them all already!) and Right Guard (can't have too much deodorant). BTW, my Dh wasn't so sure about trying new kids of deodorant (I got him the Right Guard and Old Spice this week), but he said as long as they were antiperspirant/deodorant and not that creamy kind, he'd use them! What a guy!

Yep my dbf will try a new deodorant as long as its antiperspirant deodorant and not the gely kind of stuff either.

THanks for the info on st ives. I will then get 2 lotins and 2 washes since i could only find 4 couons in my book. That is $12 enough for the deal and only paying $3 oop since i will use a $5 ecb since i will get one back. I hope im not allergic to this kind of body wash, the softsoaps are all sitting there laughing at me...lol

That is hilarious!!! I will have to figure out how to put in mine and do it.

On another note, has anybody yet gotten the hershey kisses can that was promised when you bought $10 of hersheys products??? I only remembered cuz i saw the can for sale in a store the other day and was wondering when they will be sending it out.

its funny you mention hand soap. I was just thinking to myself this morning, "it sure would be nice if CVS ran a special on handsoap..my refill bottle is empty!

I'm a scrapper too. Wonder what the odds are, statistically speaking, that if you are a bargain hunter, you also like disney, and also like to scrap? You would think that would make up a small consensus but I'm starting to think that combo is more common than not. And here I was thinking I was quite the unique individual!;)

Having a HUGE party tommorrow..been cleaning all day. Took 2 hours just to tackle the fridge. I need to have parties more often..what a motivation to clean. I haven't been able to see the top of my kitchen table in at least a year! :lmao:

Well, I ran into a problem at my third CVS stop yesterday that required my FIRST call to customer service. A little time consuming but quite painless. I did a $40 diet/nut purchase..plus a $10 filler so I could use both the $10/50 and my $10/40 diet/nut CRT. Well, everything went off without a hitch, but my Met RX protein bars didn't count towards the deal (and had previously when I did the deal the first TWO times). It counted the Ensure and slim fast shakes but not the $28 worth of bars. So of course my $10ECB didn't print. The cashier was really nice and offered to get a manager but I declined because it was a limit 5 deal. I was afraid it would mean I could do the deal a third time TWICE (if that makes any sense). Didn't feel fair to me..besides I wanted the problem addressed b/c I plan to buy more bars later. I was a little embarassed b/c here I was concerened about a $28 credit towards the deal and she had to ask me what my total was....0.79!! LoL. Yeah..ok so I actually didn't SPEND $28 but the manufactures/CVS did on my behalf !

I'm starting to get to the point where I'll be needing to work something out for my stockpile. Cabinets are full. I keep a box in the top of my closet to throw misc. items I pick up cheap for gifts (sort of like Sally's bureau). Well its overflowing. I refuse to put this stuff out in the garage with the florida heat it will turn to sludge. I asked DH what he thought and he agreed to clean out a dresser drawer..what a sport! But that will probably only hold me over till next month.

Planning to keep track of my CVS spending/savings for the month of July. I'm interested to find out how much I'm really spending! I know on HCW some ppl manage to keep up with their savings for the entire year but thats honestly too much work. At CVS the regular prices don't show up on the receipt so I have to keep track of that on my own...which is why I'm only going to do this little experiement for the month.

I'll post my results! Think I'll use excel! Anyone care to join me?

Probably too late to help, but the smartsource Q's that say "lotion or body wash" are good for the face scrub too. You could always go and do an even exchange too if you really want the scrub.

I started tracking my stuff since January when I started. It is amazing when you look at the numbers! I have kept all my receipts too! I put them in a box when I get home so if I find a product I try that I don't like I can return it or if I find a rebate later but the dates are good, I find I haven't pitched the receipt. I guess it's a good thing we have an attic & cellar ;)
