CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 3/1-3/7

LOL! I have autoimmune disease and I have to take a nasty drug that is normally used for pre-surgery brain tumors (I don't have one!), so... I take this drug for 6 days and I used to take it every 28 days. Now we're trying to stretch it out longer. I can't leave the house because I'm too weak and I can't think straight to do math :rotfl: Basically I am depressed because I can't shop!

Hope you feel better soon, some of the meds they have are as bad as the diseases. Just spend the time checking all the deals on every coupon website! :flower3:

I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, LanaJae. You know, I was wondering why there were so many ECB products left on the shelf this week when I got to Woodbury, Mahtomedi, and Maplewood. Now I know why! Seriously..... Hope you feel better soon! :flower3:

Another update on my email to CVS, not only did the manager call me at work but the assistant manager left a message on my home phone. I just wanted them to have a heads up that the sale stuff was being put out on the floor.

Thanks everyone, I am ok, I just can't get out or think straight until I can get back on the medication. I overdid it on our vacation in early February - all my energy is budgeted for CVS lol

My husband doesn't know this yet, but he's going to have to hit CVS by himself within the next week because I have some expiring ECBs. This is more painful to him than me asking him to hold my purse!

I feel like a real CVS ninja now :-) I think I'm going to use her card as a backup when there are super good deals, and I give her most of the stuff anyway. :cloud9:

I hope the tag fairy see's this one...LOL

Take care of yourself :)

I was looking for a CVS in another area that I was going to be in today, and noticed one that said "Longs Drug operated by CVS", on the CVS website

Would this mean it has all the same ECB deals as regular CVS?

Clarabellacowfan I tried to get overage at the Commissary today and failed. They had Schick disposable razor 2 pk for .69 and I had $2 coupons. Also got the Fischer nut packs and $300 of groceries.

When we got to check-out cashier asked for my coupons and sorted them. She called manager who said they would not take the Aveeno lip moisturizer because the ink was not dark enough. Could see it fine.

When she rang up the razors she looked at coupons and started saying "No way will I give you that much overage!" On and on she went while I was trying to tell her just forget it.

Since we will be leaving in 3 weeks I did not argue with her.

I can't do the Commissary, but all of that crap makes me mad. Doesn't the store get the full face value on the coupons they send in? I mean was the dollar coming out of her pocket?

I did this and everyone loved them (or did a good job of lying :lmao: ). Last year I did "survive the holidays" baskets for everyone. This year I did "relax on winter break" baskets.

((Hugs))) Hope you feel back to yourself soon

I think its a great gift. My son is disabled and also has alot of teacher's, aide's and therapists, so I totally understand where you are coming from. I think the robe with some body wash, lotion, scrubbie, excedrin or anything useful like that is a wonderful gift. I usually put a little note saying something about "your so caring to my child, so now take some time to be caring to yourself, you deserve it" etc.

I figure...would I love getting this from somebody? heck yeah I would!

I plan to do this too. Hannah is in gifted, so she has an extra teacher, and Jonah is in Special Resources, so he has a teacher and an aide, then a Speach Therapist as well. Plus the baby has a teacher and a helper, and we have a ballet teacher and an aide. Last year I bought travel mugs and filled them with candy. We'll have Teacher Appreciation around Mother's Day, and I'd like to give them a little something then too.

I sent DH to get diapers and use an ECB and 2 coupons with it. I still got 2 phone calls from him while he was at the store. :rolleyes1

Did you have the copy of the DECA policy about coupon overage printed out? They can't argue with that. Shoot an email to corporate. I'll PM you the person's email that I deal with directly.

Yep! There's a monthly deal on Kotex! ;)

YES they do. The Commissary by law can NOT make a profit at all so they HAVE to credit the full value of the coupon to the customer. I have no less than a dozen overage coupons every week. I have had to email corporate a few times when I run into rude cashiers who don't know the policy. I usually carry a copy of their corporate policy with me when I shop just in case I run into issues.

Diann - want me to drive down there and set them straight?? ;)

Hi! I am new to this CVS thread, I started CVSing last week and have done pretty well so far. I have a question though, I went to do the Lumene deal with the 4.00 coupons. I went to the first 2 store with no problem. I bought 2 of the 2.99 creams at each store, coupons were accepted and I was excited. Then I went to the third store and tried to do the same thing and the cashier told me I couldn't use the coupon because apparently I needed to bring the whole paper that the coupon was attached to. She even double-checked it with the manager who said the same thing. This really surprised me, I said "I cut it out because I thought it was a coupon, I didn't think I needed the whole piece of paper". Does this sound right?? Does each store have it's own "rules" for coupons? Just curious. Thanks!!

Unfortunately, you will find some cashiers and or managers make up their own rules as they go along. You know, you can only use that coupon on the first Thursday of the month ...

You can call corporate and see what they say. 1800ShopCVS. If they support the store, just go to the other coupon friendly stores if you have anything you think will cause problems.

I only have time for a quick reply, but I want to say thank you for the replies to my earlier post. I'm going to try to make a clear list of all the deals I want to do and the coupons I have or need... I think getting it down on paper will help. I'm not good with mental math, especially when there's a dollar sign in front! ( <--- English major and now editor.) And I will definitely get a rain check for the Aveeno if they don't have it in stock on my next visit.

Thank you again for the welcome and the help!

I joined the Lumene bandwagon and bought some wipes tonight. Is this a weekly or monthly deal?

Maggie

I just completed the Lumene deal last night! I got 2 eyemakeup removers 1 facewipes and 3 vitamin c moisturizers. It shows it as a weekly, but i'm hoping it will turn into a monthly or you can still use the coupon all month so it will be free but no ecb's back!

I completed the deal yesterday too. I really like the vit. c moisturizer. I bought 5 of those and 2 Firming Day Cream~~all on separate shopping trips so I was visiting CVS a lot this week. I'm not sure I would've done all that for $5 ECBs again, but I really like that moisturizer so I bet I would! I didn't know they sometimes turn weekly into monthlies. Bet I get more Lumene if they do. :rotfl:

I know this has been asked before but each week when the Fusion Gamer is advertised, is it a new deal? If it doesn't show on my CRT from a previous purchase, can I buy it today and still get ECB's on it?
