CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 3/1-3/7

I havent CVS'd in a few weeks, since the Madagascar deal....and have no ECBs, any suggestions on some good transactions to get started again for this week? and what is the deal on the bath robes?

But, what a bummer. You are right. They didn't do you or CVS' ecb program any justice. Oh well. I imagine there are more people interested in the programs than they think though. Don't be surprised if the Star Tribune contacts you again for a follow up interview. Now I'm just waiting for my confirmation email so I can leave a comment.

I hate when people make assumptions. That one comment would rather lead a "low consumption" lifestyle. ::rolling my eyes:: The first article wasn't great but the other two weren't bad.... Unfortunately no matter how hard I try I can't get my friends interested in it. Too much time, too much effort, too picky about their brands, etc. Oh well more ECB for me

Suave deal question here. I rec'd a coupon in snail mail yesterday for a free bottle of Suave. Can I use it and combine it with $1 off 2 (mfg. coupon) if I buy a total of 3 shampoos for the ECB deal?

Nice article LanaJae. I thought it explained the program in a very simplistic fashion. I get all sorts of error messages when I opened it though (I even went to the site directly and tried that way) so I had to keep closing and reopening to read the article. I couldn't post a comment. I will try from my home computer tonight though!

We are still working out the details for my article yet. I am searching for coupons for the following things for NEXT week to use in my example shopping trip. If anyone has any that they would be willing to trade, I would be so grateful! I would need these by Saturday. Just shoot me a PM.

When does it expire? If it's Saturday or later you could start planning next weeks deals. Did you do all the freebies for the week/month on it?
If there is something you'd use quite a bit of from next weeks ad you have time to "buy" extra coupons from an online auction site or gather them from trades on various sites.
For example Herbal Essence will be $2.88 next week, there are $3/2 coupons around and you'll get 1ECB up to 5 for the Hydralicious variety.
Garnier will be get 5ECB/$10 (limit 2) with several various coupons available from 2/8 inserts
You could do the Dove Monthly now if you have the coupons from 1/18 inserts
Huggie Jumbo packs will be 9.88, my kids are in HS so I have no idea if that is a good price or not

Its hard picking deals for others when we don't know what you need, what you consider a good deal, and what coupons you have.

Say no more. HUGGIES are on sale??? DS21months goes thru quite a few of these and they aren't cheap! $9.88 would be about comparable to what Target or Wal-mart would charge for that size. The regular CVS price on those is $12.99.

I'm in the same boat. I have no ECB's and realize that I'll have to spend some money upfront to start up again. I just hate to pay for (usually overpriced) items at start up.


Maybe another week would be better for us to start back??

Bad news. I brought my coupon binder to work and I just looked through it and I can't find any 2/22 insert? I know I have it. I might have to look at home in my magazine rack. Sorry! And I think I used the Herbal Essence coupon because its cut out.

I did find the Maalox coupon. Its for $1.50 off any Maalox product and pictures Maalox Advanced and Maalox Total Relief.

When I get home I will look for the 2/22 insert. I can run out tonight to the post office and get the letter mailed out.
