CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 3/1-3/7

The bottom has American Greetings, Hershey single bars, and then Limit Reached on Carnation, Vitamin D, and Slimquick. DS15 likes some of the Suave Shampoos so I bought the same scents he picked out last Saturday...and we did get the ECB then on 3 bottles.
Not sure if I should call about this or not as I'm going to call about them not having the correct Charmin (I think they got the 9pk in stock instead of the 6pk for the deal as it was on 2 endcaps with the Bounty Basic). I really don't want to be too much of a PITA. Ok so maybe I am a PITA but I did notice my receipt has a survey sooooo I did get to leave a msg about items not being stocked for advertised sales. But I didn't mention the Suave deal.

Is the Suave $1.99 WITH a coupon?

No, it should be that price or $2 before coupon, then you get a $2 ECB when you buy 3.

Now I don't know what states are doing this sale though because CajunDixie didn't get the ECB and the price was higher. No one has reported it not working on the other sites - the tags say the offer is valid 2-15-09 to 3-14-09 here.

Are you in California? I hope you can return the Suave, I'm sorry I wrote about the deal if it's not good everywhere. California is usually the only trouble spot except when there are test ads.

I'm in Indiana actually. The Sauve deal is not that big of a problem for me....DS likes it and I had coupons and ECBs so don't worry about it. I've gotten tons of free stuff because of your posts here!!

What I am upset about is not being able to do the front page deal since I had my coupons all ready and had the 4/20 that expires today ready. I realize some people do the deals on Saturday nights but the store didn't have the Charmin, Act nor the Fusion gamer last night nor this morning. I did just email them about that problem as I won't be able to call and whine about it tomorrow during the hours they take calls.

Okay just back from store #2. No ACT to be found there.. I did run into a massive clearance. They had the boxes of individual sanatizing wipes for .87... so I got 5, I got a skintmite shave gel for $1 on clearance, two of the $1 squid soaps, 6 suaves, the cottony wipes (thanks for the $2 coupon) another theraflu, the free vitamin D, three of the sure deodrants (still need one more for the deal, but I only had 3 coupons) a Venus razor, .... I used the $5/$30, the $1 on cold neds, three IP $1 on Sure, another IP $2 theraflu, a $2 razor, the $2 wipe and three suave ($2/3 $1/2 & .50/1)... used ECBs and my total oop was $10.97 with $14.99 ECB back. The suaves were the extra size bottles, and did count for the deal. I still need another sure and I've got another $2 ecb coming for it.

My sister wanted to start so I had her buy the carnation & slimshots and paid around $11.. then she used those to buy the razor & a mouse that cost her about $2. then she got the vit D and a clinical strength deodrant for around $4. She walked out with $2.99 in ECB and I gave her coupons for the razor & deodrant.... She swears she didn't really save anything.

OT I hate that store on weekends, they refused to take competitiors cooupons and the lady acted nasty when I said I wanted to split my sister's purchases.... I'll stick to mine from now on...

I posted that the 3 pk of Playskool cotton cloths were 50% clearance last night. I went back today with the $2 coupon and they weren't on sale anymore. They took down all the 50% off red signs (big 8x10 paper) and they scanned regular price! I asked the guy at the counter and he said that the regional manager called and said to stop all 50% sales. He said they would go on sale again next week??? Whatever. So I tried to use the $2 coupon on the wipes that were 2/$5 and they didn't have any of the Playskool 80counts. They only had the 72 counts. Those were ringing $3.29. He said he would price match to $2.50. But then the $2 coupon wouldn't scan and he couldn't do it manually. He said to come back tomorrow because he thought it was a glitch in the system. I told him the expire today and he said he would take it later. Oh well.

The robes must have gone 90% today because they scanned at $3.75 yesterday and today the whole shelf of 10 or so were gone.

I also picked up the Vitamin D and 2 of the ACT.

Those of you who do multiple deals at a time do you have them just ring them up seperately or do you do them at different times/days/stores?

I did my first major CVS'ing at 3 different stores (I didn't go out of my way, I happened to be going by three that day) Would the cashier say anything if I did it all at one store but had them ring up several different transactions?

If they don't get any on the truck Monday I'll ask them to do this. The cashier did scan a 9pk but it came up as $7.49 and the ad stated the 6pk was worth only $5.

I do all my CVS shopping at one store in one day. I don't have time to do multiple trips in a week. So, if I have multiple transactions, I'll go through the line multiple times. No problemo!! They know me and always ask how I did. Today, the clerk asked about my mom (she met her at Thanksgiving!) and asked how much money I made? When I said, "$16," she said, "Only $16? Pretty bad day?!" LOL

I do usually plan it before I get there and will go through the line two different times if I have two transactions. I get embarassed easily and don't like to hold up the line trying to do two at once. KWIM?

Strangely enough, it's in the section with energy drinks and Boost and other supplement drinks (in the pharmacy area here).

I did the same thing. Checked in the food and drinks aisle. Then I went to what I call the Diet and Healthy stuff aisle. There it was on a bottom shelf next to SOY JOY BARS! Hope you found some!

HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just cleaned house at CVS!!! Make sure to check all the other items in the beauty section!!!!

The robes said 75% off at my store but I price checked them and they were 90% I got 10 of the robes for $1.49 each, I got 12 of the sets that have 6 different shower gels, along with 6 color coordinated shower puffs for $1.29 each, 12 eof b lotion, gel, and spray sets in a little pouch for .49 each and 4 eof b metal holders (like the ones you put in the side of the sink) with a liquid soap and a lotion in each of the decorative holders for .79 each. I also had a $5 off a $20 CVS brand purchase CRT --(E of Beauty is a CVS brand) so I ended up with $361.00 worth of merchandise for $14. out of pocket!!!!!!!!

I am so psyched. DD goes to so many bday parties this will be a great gift for so many of those. And I will be able to just give people a nice little treat sometimes when I visit, or bring some to the shelter. Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!

Weekly here, it is on the middle of page 12 I think. I didn't find it in my store, nor did the cashier. We looked in the travel area but the only one there was a Crest that was less than 2oz

I got the 9 pk of Charmin last night when I went. I asked the manager because they didn't even have a shelf tag for the 6 pks, and he said they were substituting the 9 pks. It went through fine (although I did tell the cashier since I wasn't sure it would work). I think the retail value was $7.xx.

I was able to find the ACT yesterday. I did check the trial size section first and there wasn't even an empty spot. While I was trying to find DH in the store (I sent him looking for the Carnation) I found a cardboard display of the ACT hanging on the side of an endcap. It had a picture of Christie Brinkley on the box if that helps anyone..
