You did great!, especially with getting the movie.

Yes, the extra bucks are what you use the next time to pay for what you buy. If you want to keep shopping at CVS for free from now on, you'll want to get only items are are free-after-ECB (extra bucks) or free-after-ECB-and-coupon(s).

You can get 8 more rounds at 99 cents and use extra bucks to pay for them and earn an equal amount back, etc.

ty, yes the dvd was like 1.99~~ I thought that was cool and I will use all the p and g stuff....now, on to next week!

so do I cut up my receipt where the ecb's are? to use next time?

Yes, it's easiest to get some kind of little credit card wallet to keep those slips, your Extra Care Card and coupons in. You just hand them over like they are cash when you're paying - give coupons first, then ECBs.

At our stores, for example, if I bought 2 more of the 99 cent cotton rounds, I could pay with a $2 ECB, even though the total was $1.98 and the cashier would adjust the ECB down to $1.98, BUT (and I'm only bringing this up because I saw you lived in FL), in Tampa, none of the cashiers would adjust down ECBs, even by a few cents.

Sometimes if you get them adjust down by cents, it also takes away the tax and the total due is $0.00.

Today I went and found some Nivea products were buy $10 and get $3 ECBs. The body wash I wanted was $6.99 and they had 2 lip sticks with a little case for $2.99. So the total would be $9.98. Would I not get the 3 ECBs because I would have been .2 short??

I didn't want to try. I had a coupon for 2 bodywashes so I just got those and used the giftcard I had.

I did awesome today!

I got:

Gillette Fusion Gamer - 7.99
25 count cotton rounds (2) - .99 each
Hallmark cards (3) - .99 each
Gallon of Milk 3.39

I used:

$3/15
$4 off fusion
$2 any cosmetic CRT
$7 in ECBs

spent: .30 OOP

received :
$4 ECB Gillette Fusion
$3 ECB Hallmark
$2 ECB CVS cotton rounds

The girl ringing me up was new and rang up ECBs first and the 3/15 last, which worked out well for me.
I also got both a 5/30 and a 10/50 when I scanned my card at the coupon machine :thumbsup2

Movie DVDs are on sale for $9.99, there is a BOGO coupon here: http://cvs.p.delivery.net/m/p/cvs/o...d=1749286335&cid=14331202154&p=TGI_Kodak49474

Also a $5 off coupon at couponbug.com (can print 2 per computer), plus many got a $5 CRT. 2 for free or a $5 money-maker with CRT.

This turned into a more AWESOME deal, so if you have the time tonight, run out and do it. They are easy to make, just put some pictures on a memory card, go to a machine that makes the movie DVDs, load the pics, pick a song, insert the DVD (get from cashier) and go shop (takes about 10-15 minutes for each).

The BOGO CVS coupon scans as $14.99 (confirmed in other states per other forums), does not prompt to enter an amount. If you print and use 2 Kodak mfgs. and have the $5 CRT, you need to get $10.01 worth of anything to absorb the overage. $5.01 without the CRT:

$19.98 Two Kodak Movie DVDs
-14.99 BOGO http://cvs.p.delivery.net/m/p/cvs/o...d=1749286335&cid=14331202154&p=TGI_Kodak49474
-5.00 mfg. from http://www.couponbug.com/
-5.00 mfg. from http://www.couponbug.com/
-5.00 CRT ($5 off any Photo DVD)
$-10.01

You almost always have to hit the amount advertised. The few times they've changed it, it's been mid-week after a lot of complaint calls to customer service. That happens when its a deal like buy $20, get $10 and the cheapest item(s) are $9.99.

I wanted to do the Coke deal for next week on DH's card since that also printed a $5/$30 today and I had 6 coupons from cokerewards but all of the diet was either expired or close to the expiration date.

I went to try to do the DVD deal. I spent hours there and the lady couldn't get it to work. She was the only cashier there and we kept getting interrupted every time someone wanted to check out. The lady didn't know what she was doing, the machine didn't like my memory card, etc. I came home with nothing! :headache:

I did, however, get a $5 off $30 from the machine and I was going to use it in conjunction with the DVDs. But I just put my stuff back and went home once I couldn't get the DVDs.

Argh! Sorry to hear this - it was such a great deal. I went to a store that I have made DVDs at in the past and they had an "upgrade" on their Kodak machines that removed the option for making DVDs :confused3 - so had to go to another. I swear I'm the only person in the twin cities that has ever made a DVD or a photo book.

To make $10, it'd almost be worth pretending to make them and leaving with blank DVDs :lmao:
