CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

I am sure there is an explanation of this somewhere on this thread that I have missed but to save me from having to go back and read all the posts again, would someone be kind enough to explain again for me?

Thanks so much.

In the monthly January deals they had the 3 packs (vp Value Packs) for $6.99 then you get 2 ecb. Toward the end of the month a lot of stores were selling them half off or more and they still generated the 2 ecb! They were very hard to find I just came upon them in the mall cvs, and before I bought them I had them scanned even if they didn't generate an ecb I thought it was a great deal, but off course they did which made them free for me!

Great, thanks for the explanation. I saw the sale but didn't know about the clearance pricing, making it cheaper.

Did I miss manufacturer's coupon for Friday's razor promotion? Any printables?
Thanks! I am making my lists, now!!

So, are all the VP clearance priced or was it just the Dial? My store has several VP items.

Arg. I bought 2 m&m's this morning and didn't get my ECB's. The receipt shows I paid for them both. But then says quantity toward this offer 1, quantity needed 1. Calling customer service is such a hassle. I guess I should just be grateful for all the good deals I get at CVS and let this go...but I'm thinking maybe I should go buy one more bag. One more bag would be $2 right and I would get $2 in ECB (and 2 lbs. on my thighs :rotfl: )?

I posted this over at HCW and thought I'd post here to give everyone a heads up!

I haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, so if it is, my apologies. Just a heads up on the CVS brand Children's Aspirin in the February monthly booklet.

You most likely won't find any boxes that say "Children's Aspirin". They will probably say "Adult Low Dose".

The first store I went to today, I looked for the "Children's Aspirin" and couldn't find them, so I asked the manager. He took me over and looked at me like I had 8 heads when I said I couldn't find it and there was a shelf full of "Adult Low Dose". He looked high and low and that's all he found, so he said it's the right product. He said if it didn't give the ECB, he would give me cash and make it right.

So I bought 2 boxes (1 orange, 1 cherry) and the ECBs came out.

Just make sure the one you pick up is the same quantity (36 ct) and same dosage (81 mg) and is the Chewable kind in either Orange or Cherry.

However....I did see ones that actually said "Children's Aspirin" on them at another store. They had both the "Children's Aspirin" and the "Adult Low Dose". I bought 4 (on another card) and the ECB worked for both.

So if you don't see "Children's Aspirin", get the "Adult Low Dose".

Hi,

I'm brand new to the board, but I just wanted to let everyone know that this deal did not work for me. I bought my 3 bottles, made sure they were the right size and everything....no ECB's. I guess this means I can still do this deal later :) I am also brand new to CVS, so how does that work for a return when you didn't spend hardly anything out of pocket. Or do most of you just forget about it? Thanks.

Did you happen to buy a bag of green ones? The flyer had small print that said that the green ones were not included.

This deal did work for me- I had a mixture of adult and children- all worked. Check your boxes- if they are Adult coated they will not work- they have to be Orange Chewable or Chewable Cherry

Double and triple check the packs and make sure they are CVS brand and that they are the orange or cherry CHEWABLE kind (not the coated ones) and say "Adult Low Dose 81mg" on them and they are the right count (36). They should've rang at $1.79. If not, you likely picked up the wrong ones - we've all done it!

If you did get the right ones and nothing printed, call Customer Service # on the back of your EC card and they can set them to print.

That's it, you both were right, got the coated ones. Oh well, I guess I'll try it again next time. Thanks for the info.

Yes! I didn't even notice it on the flyer. Thanks for figuring that out for me. Sigh, I guess I MUST go buy more chocolate. :rotfl:

No problem. I was going to get some on my next trip and noticed that fine print. Pretty sneaky since the green ones are the ones I would have picked.

Has CVS ever NOT had the 15 off 75 or 5 off 30 coupons. I know they expired on the 3rd and I am patiently waiting to get new ones, but I cant shop at CVS without them... I am going through withdrawls. So I am starting to worry that the coupons wont be released.

Heads up...I printed the coupon from the link on this thread for 4/20 and the women said it was fake:scared1: she called the manager over and he said it is fake and there is also another one that is floating around for bayer. He said they got a memo from the office.:confused3 Did anyone else have a problem:confused:

I think i used the one either from this link, or from HotCouponWorld. I used 4 of them since Sunday and had no problem at all - the one i used today expired on the 17th i know!

sorry to hear what happened!

i just read a good idea on another site, if you have a coupon and it does not specify a size - you can use it on a travel size - as a filler? good idea i think!

question......
when cvs has a sale for instance 2 for $5.........do I have to buy 2 to get the price, or will it ring up at $2.50 if i buy just one?

Unless it specifically says that you have to buy 2 to get the price, then buying 1 will ring up at $2.50.

and the lady FREAKED OUT. I mean seriously freaking out swearing in Spanish. The manager kept saying what I did was fine and she kept insisting that I was stealing! She had to have been a shift lead since the $15.96 ECB went through, so that must mean she's worked there awhile.

We got home about an hour ago and I went through my suitcase (checked luggage) and the Sambucol was confiscated by Homeland Security in Miami lol - it's just juice!

OMG!! Sometimes you would think the money was coming out of the employees pocket or something!

And don't even get me started on the TSA!!! At least you got your ECB's for it! I would've been ticked if I'd been out the product and the $10!
