CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/3/08-2/9/08

Does anyone know if you can use the email coupon (the $4/20 that you recieve when you update your email) more than once? I printed it twice & thought I'd try it.... again tonight.

will the computer take it? I'm not using it twice in the same transaction, I used it this morning for a purchase, but wondering if it would go thru again tonight.

anyone have any experience with this?

They wanted me to update my CVS card with my email. Which they already had

I think they must've caught on (or maybe you never printed one before?). I got this in bright red:

I would think you could use it as many times as you could fit in before the expiration date.

This whole other thing is new - but it actually fits with what that manager was telling me last night, they think the full sheet email update $4/20 is being mass produced (when it's actually being linked and used by many people).

Well I experienced the ECB issue tonight - no matter what the cashier did, it wouldn't take my $10 ECB, said it wasn't tied to my card. The shift-lead came up and had to over-ride and enter three $3 ECBs and one $1 ECB to make it work.

BTW, no Venus Embrace in my area - the trucks finally arrived and had no razors onboard.

I've been looking at the full-sheet $4/20 coupons and the codes are 43190; 43192; and 43194. neatokimmo - do you know what the code was for the coupon you got? I don't know how they'd be identifying those 3 codes as not belonging to someone's card. There's a paranoid thread on another board saying that lists are being printed in each store identifying coupon abusers - those using coupons with the same code over and over.

I had such a "DOH!" moment today. It's driving me crazy!!

Ok here is the story... I told DH about the Metrex bars being on sale (he loves these and pays wayyy too much at convience stores for them) and that I had a lot of coupons for $2 off 2. So he says can you pick me up as many as you can??

So I go today with 26.99 in ECBs and my 12 MetRex Cps. Even tho I wasn't getting ECBs back I still thought a buck a piece was a GREAT price! So I grabbed 24 bars and as I was walking to the register I saw it!! the Venus Embrace razor.

I got all flustered and grabbed it and proceeded to the check out. The first one I grabbed was the travel bag kit, included razor, 2 cartridges and a small can of shaving cream in this really cute travel bag and it was also on sale for $9.99. I asked the girl if this one qualified for the 8 ECBs too, she said she didn't think so, so I went back and got just the razor. After the girl rang everything up I looked at the total and was very confused because she didn't scan my card until after the whole sale and then she took my coupons in the wrong order and I was like "ah what wait, that doesn't seem right" after all the coupons and ECBs I used the oop was 6.76.

Like I said I was flustered and in a hurry because I had to pick DS up from Preschool. So as I was driving away it hit me "DOH!" I forgot to give her my $10/50 Coupon!!

THat would have saved me 6.76 in OOP and 3.24 in ECBs!!! Total before coupons was 57.75 -10 cvs cp - 24.00 mfc - throw in a filler (candy bar .69)-23.99 ECBs Total would have been around .45 and I still would have 3 ECBs and the 8 ECBs from razor

I'm still kicking my self in the butt! Now I only have 8 ECBs left

I handed her my mfcs and I had my ECBs sitting on the counter, she grabbed the ECBs first and scanned them before the mfc. Which really threw me off because I like to do the ECBs at the end, so that way I know how much of the ECBs I want to use. I think this is one reason why I forgot to give her my CRT, she was just too quick lol.

We're just opposites

They aren't moving at Walgreens here at all, I went in tonight to pick up the Spa body wash and that display was nearly empty, but the razor one was full. It's such a good deal and they are my favorites (don't know why we need 10 types of Venus and Fusions though!).

I still do it, but I'm getting better at talking myself out of being upset - I just stare at my year to date savings and my winter spending amounts until I forget about it

Sambucol is $12.99, Minnesota is under a Sambucol prohibition I think, so if you find it where you live, buy it up (maybe my confiscated bottle in Miami is just being recycled back to CVS). I bet the Sambucol people are wondering what is happening with their sales jumping over the last 2 months!

I haven't bought the gum, most of my ECBs are good for nearly a month now so I'm holding out for things I can actually use (and not have to watch my husband pick them up from the corner and raise his eyebrows). I behaved and didn't get the energy drinks either. I have a pile of them from December and I couldn't even give them away to the college kids at finals.

Use your coupon tomorrow too if you have the link to print it again!

It showed up on my receipt today. What else do I need to purchase to generate the $25??

Last time energy drinks were on sale I maxed out both cards for DS. Last night I called and asked him if I should get them again and he said NO!

Did he try them? My son and his friends wouldn't even try one. I am afraid to too!

I wonder what that gum is supposed to do? I am usually scared of stuff like that, but I got 100% Sambucol (too bad I can't find any!). Please tell your DH good luck and I hope he does well on his diet.

I finally got an Embrace razor today - didn't even come on the truck, the mfg. apparently sent one filled display through FedEx. The $8 ECB wasn't printing, the $6 for tomorrow was, but luckily the manager had caught that already and priced adjusted to $7.99.
