CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 12/28-1/3

Ooh that sounds like so much fun! Congratulations!

I feel awful for you - tell the manager you've been sick (you have since you found them). I think I'd even start crying in the store for $82!

Here's something to buy if you find them - there are some kind of 6-pack boxes of Soy Joy for $6 each and they give $6 ECBs, the deal isn't supposed to start until 1-4-09, but it's already working (I haven't found them), you can do it 5 times, so that's $30 to roll.

:lmao:  :rolleyes1

iheartcvs.com has the $3/15 coupon with 4 on a page, really saves ink. It's under the "CVS coupons" link. Print in "landscape."

Also, there is a $3 off CVS Brand coupon in this newspaper (do this quickly, it will disappear):

http://thebeaconnewspapers.com/newspaper.php

-Click on the "Balt. Edition"
-Go to page 14
-Click on the page on the left side and the page will show on the right side
-Click on the "print" link on the top right corner of the right side

It doesn't expire until 1-17-09.

This week (and next I think), all CVS Brands are buy one, get one 50% off. There are lots of CVS items under $3, the possibilities are endless.

Also wanted to say that you only had to get to $15 before coupons, you don't have to count what the mfg. coupons take off - you give the $5/15 first, then all other coupons, then any ECBs. That's how most of us end up only paying $1-2 each time.

Interesting! But it was the cashier that pointed out the need for one more item, or to give up the $3 mfg. coupon. Later, I realized I should have picked up the extra toothpaste for $2.99, instead of the coffee, which was double that amount. So I wound up with $20.49 subtotal, less the $5/$15 coupon made the bill $15.49....and then the $5 in ECB's that I had to go back inside to have printed.

This particular CVS is new (about 6 months old) and it is within walking distance. (This helps with my resolution to get out more and exercise.) In the winter it seems to be pretty empty because it is so close to the beach - so the workers seem happy to have the company. They are very friendly and patient.

I can also walk to Rite Aid, and Walgreen's - so I am on the lookout for their specials, too.

Thanks for the encouragement.

It might just be that store or that cashier, I'd keep trying if you get more $/$$ coupons.

No plans here, it's -3 and falling so we'll just be sitting at home wishing we were somewhere warm (like Florida!).

Thank you so much LanaJae, you're just the best. I'll be looking forward to hearing how you use the coupon, too!

What was the limit on the Bodiheat monthly deal? I ended up buying one w/o a $1 coupon, and thought that was my 2nd, so today they had 2 packs both w/ coupons so I bought one and on my reciept it said 1 needed to reach limit, so I, of course, doubled back to get the other and THAT reciept said 1 needed to reach limit. If they had others I would have gotten them, but those were the last two.

I did okay, got two of the thermacares ($1 coupon for one and $1.50 coupon for the other) and the bodiheat, and a 50% off Ferr Rocher Bell (Holiday candy) and minus the coupons and a $5 ebc it was slightly under $15 (I had forgotten to print the 3/15. I had a gc I got when I moved a prescription, so I used that and got a $4 ecb and a $3 ecb. I used the $3 to buy the second Bodiheat and got that $3 ecb back. I need to plan better, I could have printed the 3/15 and saved even more. I'm still planning to go back and get the pantene (have the coupon for that) and I may can dig up another coupon for the thermacares so I'll get those too, I also need the Glide (and have a coupon for that as well) Today was hetic and I had to get stuff for new brakes (mine are grinding, and I was afraid to go anywhere!)

hi there! I just realized that next week's deals include THE Christmas toilet paper! I've spent way too much time thinking about this, but I've come up with this deal:

1 Cottonelle 20 pack toilet paper $13
2 packs of Throat coolers (these are a Jan. free after ecb monthly) $10
$23 total
minus - $5 (cooler B1G1 coupon from 12/7 SS)
- 3/15
Total: $15
Get back 4 ecb for toilet paper, 10 ecb for coolers so net total $1 out of pocket for huge pack of toilet paper! I only wish the coolers were more than limit 2 (both used in this one deal) so I could do it over and over.

Today stocked up on the South Beach bars before the coupons expired, but I totally forgot about the promax bars. I'm debating whether to go to another one...

Oh, and to the PP whose ECB expired - if one manager says no, go to another store. My sister let alot expire once, and the manager was more than happy to push them through. So it is definitely not company policy NOT to accept them. 82 is an enormous amount! Good luck.

Have a great new year's everyone!

Last transaction of the year:

$7/2 Pantenes
$7/2 Pantenes
$1.49 Dawn
$0.00 BOGO Dawn
$3.99 CVS Swifter refills
$1.99 50% second CVS Swifter refills
$21.47 subtotal

-$4.00 off $20 (expires 12/31/08)
-$3.00 off CVS brand
-$3.00 off 2 Pantenes
-$3.00 off 2 Pantenes
-$0.20 off Dawn
-$0.20 off Dawn
-$6.00 ECBs

+$1.21 taxes

$3.28 Total

+$4 ECBs for Pantene

I could have done better with choosing the CVS brand stuff but was in a rush so picked up something that I use and would push me over $20. I could have used the $3/15 instead w/o the CVS stuff but was afraid the total after all the coupons would be less than the $6 ECBs that I had to pay. It's hard to do math on the fly!

Well, if you are crazy, what does that make me??? I think I have saved every receipt from CVS since I started CVSing in June.:scared1: Yikes! Great job on your transaction! Your family should be proud.:cheer2:

WALGREENS ALERT!!

The Robitussin and Dimetapp are on sale for $4 and then you get back Register Rewards (kind of like their ECB). You are supposed to get $10 back when you spend $20 (so you need to buy 5), but it is printing a $10 and 2 $5. So you spend $20 and get $20 back! Plus you make a profit if you use coupons Coupons were in 9/21, 11/2, and 12/14 Red Plum inserts. Plus you can print a $2 off from Robitussin website and a $2 from the Dimetapp site.

Hurry, they may fix this or the stores may run out.

Maggie

I just tried this and it's printing a $10 and a $5. So it's still a good deal since I had 5 $2off coupons. I spent $10 OOP and got $15 back in RR. Of course I don't know what I'm going to do with all that dimetapp! LOL

I also got a few things at CVS. Used 3 $3/15 coupons and did a few deals. There is also a shampoo and conditioner called Vitamins (or something like that) that is free after a rebate, so I worked that into some of my purchases so I could get up to $15.

That was my exciting New Year's Eve! There sure were a lot of people out buying liquor! I would not want to be on the road too much later.

Thank you so much LanaJae, you're just the best. I'll be looking forward to hearing how you use the coupon, too!

I did my last CVS trip of the year this evening. My total savings for the year (as of 12/28) is...$5647.91!! Also I did 5 transactions tonight so that number will probably end up being around $5800  Also I didn't start CVS-ing until March so that's really only 10 months.

I was very proud of my 5 transactions today, I only spent $0.19 (on a money card) and I made $17 in ECB's. I was kicking myself because I didn't print enough 3/15 (I only had 4) so I could have done more transactions and made a lot more ECBs but I'm not complaining! I still have wayyy more ECBs than I could know what to do with...$170!

The good thing is they're all rolled into January 14 or later, I'll be at Disney next week! :cool1: :cool1:

Also, I saw the infamous Xmas toilet paper at my store. It took up half an aisle on the shelf, literally 7 packages high, 9 packages wide, and 2 packages deep. And these are 20 packs! I took a picture with my phone but I have no clue how to post it here, lol. At least I won't have to worry about that store running out! ;)

So the infamous toilet paper is back? Is it just a good price or close to free? I'd definitely stock up if it's a really good deal. Is it this week or when?

Clue us in! LOL

Happy New Year everyone!

WOW! I hit $6014 with about $150 left to post, but I had 2 mos. more than you and all the $/$$ stacking CVS coupons in January (like $45 off $75 instantly and limits of 5 on everything). I'm glad the total is going to reset, I hate it when the cashiers notice it :rotfl:

Happy New Year everyone!

It isn't a great deal yet, it's a $12.97 bonus pack Cottonelle with a $4 ECB next week (limit 5), but anytime after January 11th, it might get marked down to 50% off and then 75% off and still earn the $4 ECB. They have to get rid of it because it takes so much space and it's not an item they carry year round. They don't put signs up for the %-off, so as soon as someone finds that it's been clearance, they'll post and then you have to run to the store and buy it all up (or at least that's how it worked last year).

Speaking of bonus pack deals, I found the 6-pack boxes of Soy Joy tonight and I bought all 5 at once because I had a $25.47 ECB to spend. I used the $2 off 10 Soy Joy mfg. coupon, the first one went through, but 2nd one beeped and say "coupon exceeded." I mildly argued that if the 1st one went through, the 2nd should too since I was buying 30 bars (only had 2 coupons). The coupon must be coded multi and each box counts as 2 or 3 bars.

$1 off 5 bars: http://www.soyjoy.com/special-offers.aspx
Mfgs. were in regional 9-7-08 and 10-19-08 Smart Source inserts.
