CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 11/16-11/22

There are many items in the Black Friday ad that will be MONEYMAKERS with coupons. You might want to use the ECB you have to roll with the moneymaker deals and then when you do all of those, use up your last ECB on the necessities. Also, the sale starts on Thanksgiving day, so its not like you have to go out during the crazy Black Friday mess.

Thanks for the tips. I was wondering if it would start Thanksgiving night. We always eat early and then have nothing to do, since most places aren't open. I guess I'll be at CVS!

Rachel

will there be a normal weekly sale going on starting this Sunday, as well as a seperate black friday sale on the 27th?

I need to get this straight. Is the new rule that ECBs need to come before coupons?

I went to the CVS near my office at lunchtime and actually found the large packs of AA and AAA batteries, but my $15 ECB from the first time I did the deal wouldn't work. She had scanned the batteries and the $5/2 coupon. She said I obviously couldn't use the battery ECB to buy more batteries :confused3 . She tried to tell me that I would get the $15 she was asking me to pay back, but I wasn't interested in paying $15 OOP.

She also tried to tell me I wouldn't get the ECBS b/c my toal was $19.98 instead of $20. I told her I "thought" I would since I had some extra leftover from the first time I'd done the deal.

That is how I did my deal too - on Tuesday and the ECB would not work as well. The manager was close by and he tried everything and finally put it in as cash and told the cashier to set it off to the side so she wouldn't be "short" in her register and he would figure it out later. The cashier said something about maybe I couldn't use it on the batteries and he said ECBs can be used like cash so that wasn't it.

Thanks for posting this here! I am very excited for these deals. Maybe I'll play with my coupons tonight.:teacher:

I found 2 more of the Glade get a free warmer wyb refills - one was in October's Good Housekeeping and the other was in November's All You. That Good Housekeeping also had a BOGO refills. Here is a BOGO on the scented oil candle: http://www.glade.com/offers.aspx?offerId=102
They are $5.49 to $6.40 and count towards the deal (can do it 5 times), so final cost after ECB would be 49 cents plus tax for 2 for the lower-priced type.

What glade scented oil candles are included in the deal?

I only buy glade type stuff if its free or moneymaker (or really cheap) because it sets off my asthma in one second if I use it in my own house. So I only buy it to give away.

Thanks for the tip on the batteries giving ECB's at 19.98. I wasn't going to do the deal because I didn't want to buy 3 of the 9.99 packs...wasn't worth the deal at that point. But at 19.98 I will be going back to do that deal again tomorrow!!!!:thumbsup2

There are other items that are free after ECB also. But I only listed the ones that were moneymakers.

They also have some small appliances for something like $19.99 with $10 ECB.

I really like the spray type freshners that automatically spray, but DGD is allergic to them So fat the glass scents are ok and the candles but the others all seem to bother her ! I can use the regular spray as long as she's not in the room bot that automatic was the worst!!I did the deal with candles they will make a nice little Teacher gift!!

Sorry to ask this again, because I'm sure you all explained it a million times. But for the Wall-e deal, what is the lowest OOP you had to spend? I really don't want to spend anything OOP but it'd be a nice gift. I know I have ECB's to use, but then I wouldn't have anything to roll over. And is this only for this week?

OK, I thought the Wall-e was with the batteries. I don't think I'd do it for the Coke because we have food stamps and I wouldn't buy that OOP, so probably pointless for me to get it.

It's all of them, but some are more expensive. Won't be a money-maker because you'd have to get 2 of the candle holders (comes with 2 candles) for $5.49 and then use the BOGO printable, so after ECB they'd be 49 cents plus tax. I don't think there was a way to get the refills lower than $5 either. The glass scents work for free with 2 BOGO coupons. The free warmer wyb refills on the plugins oil come out to a small money-maker.

Wall-E is with the Coke, so it's $20 to get the movie for $9.99 (minus any possible Coke coupons, but at least one store refused to take coupons for this deal).

People who have cokerewards.com points can get two $1 coupons for 35 points or two BOGO 12-packs for a lot more points.

There are alot of lotions on sale right now at my stores, Dove, Curel, Olay....50% off. I've had some misc coupons coming up to expire, that I used today

Dove 4.00 each (reg 7.99), bought 2 and used a CRT that was $6 off Dove lotion, plus 2 $1.50 off coupons

Skin Effect 1/2 off certain ones, so I got 1 rejuv hand treatment $10.00 (reg 19.99) and 2 Skin Eff moisterizers $8 each (reg 15.99 ea). I then used a CRT for $5 off S.E. hand treatment, another CRT for $5 off S.E. moisterizer, a $2 cvs beauty book S E coupon and one more $4 CRT off any facial item and got $5 ecb's for the SE deal. Still OOP but very little for $50 worth of S.E. items.

Check out your lotion aisles and take your coupons with you.

Also I saw the Go Wild nail polish sets, but they rang at 4.99....no .49 cents for me!

I finally got my Wall E DVD!

Yesterday I had no luck.
I purchased 3 twelve packs of Coke on Sunday and then was buying another three with the DVD yesterday. I had noticed that the cokes were ringing up 3.33 each thus being three for 9.99 not 10 so I was prepared to have to throw a 2 liter in to bring my total to $20.98.

Well the girl ringing me up decided that the price wasn't ringing up correctly because I needed to buy the Coke and have the coupon print off and then buy the DVD. I had read that the coupon was only for Sun/Mon and then after the DVD came out it would be an automatic thing. So she rang up and charged me for everything but the DVD. When my receipt printed it didn't even mention the Wall E deal on it anymore.

My cashier was really nice about it and tried everything to get it to work. Ignoring her co-workers who just kept yelling about needing to buy $20 worth of Coke (Then why didn't it work when I tossed in a 2 liter  )

Finally she just voided the Wall E and told me to call customer service.
Customer Service told me that there was a problem with the promotion and to try today as it should be fixed and if it didn't ring up 9.99 to call them while I was in the store.

Well from what I read on slickdeals my problem was splitting the deal between the pre and post release of the DVD.

However while I was wandering the store yesterday I noticed they had a huge bin marked FREE filled with the L'Oreal. I hadn't bought any because it didn't factor into my deals and I figured they'd be out by now. When I scanned my card at the coupon machine walking in yesterday I got a CRT for $2 off L'Oreal.

So today I went in with my $2 CRT and the $1 MFQ. Grabbed the L'Oreal and Wall E and headed to the register. Of course it didn't ring up correctly! However I had a fabulous cashier who price adjusted the movie for me! I then used my $15 ECB from the battery deal on Sunday and paid $8.57 using a CVS gift card I got for my birthday and then I got $15.99 in ECBs back! :cool1:

I was soo frustrated yesterday! But now I am the proud owner of Wall E

Do you remember their actual price? I had a very frustrating day at CVS today (don't ask, about the batteries, grr) and rude clerks, so I only glance at the candles and was too frustrated to make sense of them all. And this store had the candles right up front :rotfl2: Oh it was just a yucky day.

So anyway, do you remember how much the warmer refills are? And how they would be a money-maker? I think I have a warmer somewhere, but if not, how much are the actual warmers?

Thanks, I was almost ready to quit CVS ing today!!

The only thing that works for a money maker is the coupon for the warmer when you buy a refill. The warmers were $6.99 for the night-light one (not a sale price) and $7.99 for the one with a fan (also not a sale price).

The refills are $2.99 for a single (not a sale price) and $3.99 for a 2-pack (that is a sale price).

With the coupon, it works like this:

$6.99 night light warmer
3.99 2-pack refill
-6.99 mfg. coupon from 11-2-08 Smart Source
$3.99 (with $5 ECB back)

Candle works like this:

$10.98 2 oil candle holders with 2 candles
-$5.49 BOGO mfg. printable: http://rightathome.com/offers/GladeHoliday/
$5.49 (with $5 ECB back)

Other work-ins (since you can do this 5 times, you'll get 98 cents carry-over on the above 2 deals):

$7.98 Two 2-pack scented oil (for the warmer)
-3.99 mfg. printable: http://www.rightathome.com/offers/2...2659319&om_rid=B60Qzu&om_mid=_BJIycaB7XScWRk&

$5.00 Two Glass Scents
-2.50 BOGO mfg. coupon from 10-12-08 Smart Source

When I grow up, I want to be just like you LJ!

Are you working more than 1 now.

Wouldn't it be great to get more this year:santa:

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS FREE TOILET PAPER!

Yeah. Our health insurance co. has a program with CVS and they sent DH a card. So I just started using it. I was too scared to open another one before. I find it a bit confusing with the two cards. So I only use it to get the deals I really want. Like I'm only doing the batteries on one card. But I think I'm going to kick myself if I don't do it on both.

But bring on the toilet paper! If there was one thing you truly can't have enough of that's it!!!!
