CVS CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 12/16-12/22

For those of you who have done the photobook, how many pictures does it hold?

Is it one picture per page or can you do 2/3?

I might make my mom a photobook and I want to put all my pictures on the memory card, but I don't know how many pictures to decide on.

Maggie

I think you can have 54 in a 10-page book Maggie. I've done 43 at the most and I think when I make another this week, I will limit it to around 30 because after 40, some of the pictures get too tiny.

That's good to know! I plan on making one of these for DS#1 tomorrow of our WDW trips. I was going to put about 45 pics on a disc but now I will try to limit it to 30 - 35.

Can you use a cd to take your pictures in or do they have to be on a SD card?

Does anyone know if the Loreal HIP Products are a December special???? I remember that in the ad last week it said limit 5 and I thought I saw it in the December circular but now I've thrown that away.

Has anyone used the $5 off battery coupon this week? The clerk at my CVS told me that the computer is now limiting them to "one per family." I'm going to try it again anyway at the one that's on my way home from work.

I had a pretty good trip on the way to work this a.m., though. Got the five Pepsi 12-packs for $11, the Quattro razor and a package of batteries. Used the $4 razor coupon, $5 battery coupon, $7.98 in ECBs and a $5/$15. Total was $2.73 and a got $4 back in ECBs. Used a prescription gift card for the $2.73, of course.:rotfl:

I haven't tried it this week, I just did the deal (six packs) on 2 cards last week, but someone my husband works with bought 300 packages of batteries last week.

So apparently they can tie a coupon number per card now, the same way they keep track of the weekly/monthly deals on the bottom of our receipt?

They can be on almost any kind of memory card, including a CD. Some have scanners too, but others don't.

Little bit of a warning..

I don't know if anyone else has gone crazy on photo books like I have, but just to warn you, they are counting last week's books on my receipt for this week, so if someone made 5 last week and was going to do 5 again this week on the same card, the ECBs might not print.

The register is still accepting all of these (in any combination) for one book:

50% off (CRT coupon or Bzz coupon)
$3 off photo book online printable
$3 off photo book scannable (available in photo shop)
up to 3 $2 off $10 or $2.50 off $10 CVS items CRT coupons!
$2 off $10 (anything) scannable (available in diabetes section by pharmacy)
$2 off $10 (anything) online printable

You can get it down to nearly free and don't even have to use ECBs (and earn $3 in ECBs on top of that)

Has anyone used one of the $5 off $15 or more printables that are floating around? If so, did you have any trouble? There is just something about it that makes me wonder if it is legit or not.

I feel the same way, I won't use them. If our paper had gotten them like others did, then I would use them.

I did on Monday but the cashier pushed it through....She asked me if I had gotten it out of Sunday's paper ...I said no ..I printed it off the internet...it wouldn't work so she pushed it through...but there is one in our paper today that expires on 12/22...same one...5 off 15... :santa:

Just a heads up here. I messed up a couple of days ago while doing the Fusion deal and bought 2 of the $9.99 razors leaving me needing 2 cents more for 10 ECB. Today I bought the small Fusion gel for $1.79 and use a $1 MQ. The samll one would not genereate ECB. Had to return the small one and buy the large one.

Next week I will pay more attention.:rolleyes1

I won't use the printables either. My paper got them last week and again today, though, so I've got 4 of them!

Didn't feel comfortable using the $5/$15 that someone scanned and didn't get it in our paper, but today's trip is A O.K. with me:

1 Energizer AAA-8 pack, $5.29
1 Tylenol 10 ct, $2.49
1 Ghiradelli chocolates, $3.29 (part of a gift)
1 Toblerone, $1.99 (part of a gift)
-----------------------------------
Total: $13.06
less $2/$10
less $5 Energizer
less $1 Energizer peelie on package (getting hard to find these as people taking off packages and leaving packages)

Paid balance of $5.06 with $5 ECB + $0.06 out of pocket
Received back $2.49 ECB (for Tylenol)

1 Photobook 6x8 $12.99
1 Schick Quattro disposable razors (pack of 3) $5.99
1 Tylenol 10 ct. roll $2.49
