The AMEX gift cards have an "activation fee" above and beyond the face value. So unless you were going to be buying them anyway, the ECBs don't cover the fees.

Remember that elusive Oral B electric toothbrush - Vitality, I think? Well I did end up finding one and used my $10 coupon making it free after ECB.

In Sunday's PG insert, there's another $10 coupon, but Vitality isn't mentioned on it. I have another rain check for the Vitality (my moms) so do you think they'd take the OralB coupon, even if Vitality isn't specified?

I don't know enough about them or how similar they are but she (my mom) would sure like one also!

It was a disaster! Well, not really. but sort of.

So I decided to do the P&G deal since we are fighting over the last roll of TP here. And of course, in true CVS fashion, they only have 1 package of Charmin. So, I had to scratch my plan and figure out what to do.

I then decided to get the bounty but of course... no bounty. I found an employee and he was (new I think) and very helpful. He says, "Oh, I'll go look upstairs for you."

CVS has an UPSTAIRS? Whatever.

So the kid finds me some bounty. Now my deal is coming together along with a Dawn, a Puffs and some Duracell.

My total was 20.05 (yay!) but then I got the eye stuff for smiller. I like how they're out of Charmin but have eye solution. whatever.

Now it's time for the showdown with my coupons and ECBs. And of course, all my ECBs beep. ????

The kid says, "I'll have to call my manager."

Thank goodness it was the manager that knows me well and was (sort of) happy to see me.

They had to manually push thru each of my ECBs. What's up with that?

Also, one of my renpure organics wouldn't go thru at all and he told me to just "hang onto it". I didn't want to argue since they had found the bounty for me and now pushed thru 5 ECBs so I just let it go.

At least we have some TP now.

4 more days until the YC & BCV!!!! Maggie, didn't you stay YC recently? Or am I confused? Any fun tips? It will be my first time at YC. Can't wait!!!!

I have no idea about the toothbrush coupon. I've never bought one of those fancy ones and I'm not a coupon expert. sorry! I figure it is always worth a try though, if they won't take the coupon just say you don't want the toothbrush anymore. You won't be out anything since you haven't handed over your ECBs yet.

We stayed at the Beach Club. We LOVED it! I think we would like to stay there from now on!!! I spent every afternoon break floating around in the lazy river. It was heaven. Have a great time! Didn't you just get back from Disney???
